The visit commenced with the President’s participation in the three-day Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, an international business event designed to attract investments and promote the state of Gujarat.
This biennial summit, initiated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2003 during his tenure as the state’s chief minister, has evolved into a platform for fostering global business relations.
President Sheikh Mohamed’s presence at the event not only underscores the UAE’s commitment to economic collaboration but also highlights the mutual efforts to enhance ties between the two countries.
The visit kicked off with a grand parade, jointly led by President Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Modi, covering a distance of 3km from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to Gandhinagar city. The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit provided a platform for both leaders to engage in crucial discussions aimed at further solidifying the strategic partnership.
