      In a delightful show of cultural appreciation, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took to Instagram yesterday to share his experience of enjoying the festivities of Onam.
      His Highness Sheikh Hamdan is known for his inquisitiveness towards different cultures and experiencing them. This time, the Crown Prince of Dubai was spotted celebrating Onam, a festival celebrated in the Southern state of India.
      Through captivating visuals on his Instagram story, the royal depicted his involvement in the vibrant celebration. Engaging in the authenticity of the occasion, he relished the Onam Sadhya, where a variety of traditional dishes are served on a bed of banana leaves.

      What is Onam?
      The Onam Festival, deeply rooted in the heart of the southern Indian state of Kerala, marks a jubilant and cherished harvest gala. Unfolding across a period of over ten days, this event pays tribute to the legendary King Mahabali and resonates with the spirit of the region. Traditional garments, resplendent flower arrangements, and lavish banquets shape the essence of Onam, which magnificently mirrors the rich culture of Kerala.
      What is an Onam Sadhya?
      Onam Sadhya is a traditional vegetarian feast served in Kerala, India, during the festival of Onam. It consists of a variety of dishes served on a banana leaf and typically includes rice, sambar, avial (mixed vegetable dish), olan (ash gourd and coconut stew), thoran (stir-fried vegetables), and payasam (sweet dessert). The meal is known for its elaborate and diverse flavors, and it holds cultural and social significance in Kerala.
      As an avid traveller, Sheikh hamdan is constantly seen partaking in the custom and traditions of different countries during his various expeditions.       With adventure in his spirit, Dubai’s Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a warm heartfelt video of taking the twins on a cycling expedition around Yorkshire.
      The video was shared to his fanbase of 16 million fans on Instagram, where he often updates his following with pictures and videos of how they’re growing so quickly.
      By taking them outdoors and letting them experience nature at a young age, Fazza’s travels around the world exude his passion for exploration and adventure which he is beginning to instill in his little ones since a young age.

      The caption of the video read, “The start of a great adventure. #family” and we couldn’t help but adore this doting moment of him as a father.
      His Highness became a father for the first time in May 2021, welcoming twins Rashid and Shaikha into the world. Since then, the Crown Prince of Dubai has truly become the ultimate doting dad. Fazza has shared tidbits of the growing twins on social media, sharing some adorable doting father moments with his 14 million followers on Instagram. He welcomed his third child in February 2023. Revealed to be named Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, he is the third addition to the Crown Prince of Dubai’s growing family.

      2023 was no different — earlier this month, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was spotted on the streets of London, meeting and greeting his ardent admirers. Taking a stroll in Hyde Park, eating at popular joints and mingling with the locals, the Dubai ruler sure knows how to win hearts.

      Speaking of ruling from the heart, the Crown Prince of Dubai was also captured in kindness when he made an overwhelmed fan smile with his gesture, while on holiday. Fazza was spotted making a crying fan laugh in a video, after she couldn’t contain her excitement.

      When it comes to engaging with the monarchy across the world, there’s a set of rules one must always engage in. The UAE Royals are known for humanising the bond they share with their people beyond the protocol.
      Recently, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE was also seen interacting with a large crowd in Egypt, sans any security. His Highness patiently obliged for pictures and spoke to the people without a security guard in sight, during his visit to the North Coast of Egypt.

      His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai is known for his avid love for travelling and Japan is the latest to be added to his list.
      From mountainous regions to adrenaline-fuelled spots, Fazza’s travels around the world exude his passion for exploration and adventure.
      In a series of photos shared on Sheikh Hamdan’s feed to his 15.7 million fans with the caption “I love Japan”, snippets from his trip are seen along with his love for photography which is vividly captured.
      Known for travelling the globe, Sheikh Hamdan has visited a series of countries over the years including Tanzania, South Korea, Estonia, Denmark and more.

      Previously, in 2019, Sheikh Hamdan had made a visit east to Japan. Regarded as a highly-trained fitness enthusiast, the Dubai royal was seen posing with bronze sculptures of rugby player Michael Leitch and sumo wrestler Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi. He was also captured taking some classes and trying some delicious food, he’s undoubtedly ticked off a host of must-visit venues on his trip to Japan. From grazing through the enchanted streets or travelling by the high-speed bullet train to Tokyo, make a note of all the must-dos on your next trip.
      Japan eVisa for UAE residents
      The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a new online tourist visa system, and only residents of a select few countries, including the Emirates and KSA, as well as Brazil, UK, USA, Cambodia, Canada, Mongolia, Taiwan, Singapore and South Africa can apply for the same. All residents are required to apply more than seven days before their trip. Applicants will need to apply via the dedicated website Japan eVISA, where upon successful submission, a digital confirmation visa will be sent to the applicant. At immigration, visitors will need to simply log on to the website and show the visa upon entry. The new system allows residents of permitted countries to apply for an online tourist visa which will grant eVisas for up to 90 days in Japan.

      Dubai’s Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum loves sharing glimpses of his life on Instagram.
      In his most recent post, he shared an adorable throwback image of him and his younger brother His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum from their childhood together.

      Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Minister of Finance of UAE, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated. The royal was named as deputy ruler in February 2008 when his elder brother His Highness Sheikh Hamdan was made crown prince.
      Reminiscing his childhood, Fazza posted a picture of the brothers dressed in matching outfits of traditional kandura with brown leather jackets. Captioned with a simple heart, the picture gave his 15.6 million ardent followers a peek into his early life.
      Making it a lucky day for the fans, Sheikh Hamdan also posted a picture from his High School reunion, where the crown prince and his friends share a moment.
      Fazza did his schooling in Dubai at the Rashid School For Boys and then at the Dubai School of Government. For his higher studies he moved to the United Kingdom, where he continued his education at  Sandhurst. After which, he graduated from the London School of Economics.
