Winter sports
The Schluchtensteig Trail in the Black Forest
It is time burn some calories in the famous Elb river in Germany, where you can hike in the Black Forest (named this way because it’s home to many pine trees, but it’s very green). Do not forget to try the delicacies along the way while exploring the gorgeous nature dressed in white snow.
Ski or ride the cable car at the top of Mount Zugspitze southwest Garmisch-Garmisch-Partenkirchen
We recommend visiting the highest mountain covered in snow in Germany with views of Switzerland, Italy and Vienna, where you can enjoy sleigh rides on the snow or cable car rides offering magical natural scenery.
Ride the Harz Steam Railway
Enjoy a journey through nature between the Harz Mountains in a brilliant white scenario.
Just a few miles away, you will find magnificent cultural attractions, cozy small towns and private trenches that form the remains of the traditional mining tradition as it is an integral part of the landscape.
