K-Pop icons, BTS are set to make their Saudi Arabian debut this year

Their Middle Eastern debut

From skincare to pop-music, it seems like South Korea is quickly taking over the world. With K-pop mania spreading everywhere like wild-fire, the region will finally be getting a taste, as one of the industry’s biggest bands will be heading to the Middle East this year. Record-breaking, seven-member boy-band, BTS will be heading to Saudi Arabia this October, and we can’t wait!

The hitmakers announced that they will be bringing their  world tour to Riyadh. The boy band will make their Saudi Arabian debut at the King Fahd International Stadium on October 11. Little to none is known about the upcoming gig, including when tickets go on sale, but one thing’s for sure, this will be one show you wouldn’t want to miss. Just a few days ago, K-pop legends, Super Junior performed in Jeddah and tickets sold out so fast, that the website where they were being sold crashed.

It is hard for anyone today to not know who BTS is, as the boy-band obtained Global Superstars status. The seven-member musical troop has broken several records in their six years, making history as the first Korean group to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart – not once, but three times. Not only that, but they were also part of Time 100’s list of most influential people of 2019 and and been offered a Recording Academy membership invite to help choose Grammy Award winners.

The singers joined the band in 2013 in Seoul, and had their breakthrough in the United States in 2017. They became the first Korean group to win a Billboard music award, and ended up collaborating with some of America’s biggest names like Halsey, Nicki Minaj and Steve Aoki. Now that they will be making a trip to the region, we could only hope that they announce a concert in the UAE, fulfilling their Army’s (the nickname for their fanbase) dreams.
