IN PARTNERHIP: Battersea Power Station has been transformed into a magical winter wonderland this festive season. From now until January 5th, 2025, the iconic London landmark is adorned with dazzling lights, towering Christmas trees, and larger-than-life decorations, making it a must-visit destination whilst you’re in London.
A Festive Extravaganza
The Power Station’s historic interiors have been decorated with stunning decorations inspired by its Art Deco heritage. Visitors can expect to be enchanted by glittering lights, over 150 Christmas trees of various sizes, including a grand 40-foot tree in Malaysia Square. A giant bauble installation in the riverside piazza and a trail of candy canes on Electric Boulevard add to the festive atmosphere, providing lots of festive photo spots.
Santa’s School for Elves
Children can embark on a magical journey at Santa’s School for Elves, where they will learn all the skills needed to be an Elf, meet Santa Claus, and receive an official Elf hat and certificate. Adults can also get creative with festive arts and crafts sessions, including bauble marbling, keyring embroidery, and floral table center workshops, so you go home with a unique souvenir from London.
A Shopper’s Paradise
With over 150 British and international brands, including ZARA, Jo Malone London, IWC, and Apple, Battersea Power Station is the perfect destination for Christmas shopping. Children will be entertained too with brands like LEGO ®, and the world’s first permanent standalone stores for Peppa Pig and Transformers. Additionally, a series of festive markets are now open until Sunday 22nd December, where you can pick up unique gifts and treats from independent small businesses, from candles to jewellery, prints to soaps.
Festive Fun for All
The fun doesn’t stop there. Visitors can enjoy ice skating at the riverside rink, Boots presents Glide at Battersea Power Station, and take in breathtaking views of the city from the top of the Power Station’s chimney with the Lift 109 experience. The Cinema in The Power Station offers a cozy escape to watch Christmas classics or new blockbusters.
A Culinary Delight
With over 50 restaurants and bars, including lots of Halal options, Battersea Power Station offers a diverse range of dining options. From festive menus at Dishoom and Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen to cozy drinks at Control Room B and Searcys Champagne Bar, there’s something for everyone. Plus, don’t miss a range of savoury and sweet treats at the Festive Food Huts, and dine at the first ever tashas in the UK, serving beautiful food in a truly stunning environment.
Easy Access
Battersea Power Station is easily accessible by public transport, with its own Zone 1 Underground station taking just 15 minutes to reach from the West End, and an Uber Boat by Thames Clippers pier for those who want to travel along the River Thames. Visiting by car is simple too, with underground parking and easy drop-off locations. Plus, Battersea Power Station is just a short walk from Chelsea.
