    10 precious Queen Rania moments with her daughters

    With Mother’s Day soon arriving, we look at one of the most prominent Jordanian Royal’s, Queen Rania cherishing the love for her daughters.
    There’s no bond stronger than a mother and daughter and Queen Rania is the epitome of that with her two girls, Princess Iman and Princess Salma.
    As the young princesses have grown up, they have come to look like their powerhouse mother more and more.
    Throughout the years, the trio have been seen at many public engagements together, as well as in photographs shared on Queen Rania’s Instagram where Princess Iman and Princess Salma continue to display an uncanny resemblance to their mother.
    With that, we take a look back at some of Her Majesty’s precious moments with her lookalike daughters.
    As a grandmother

    Queen Rania of Jordan has added another role (the most precious, might I add) to her life. Recently, she became a grandmother to Princess Iman, child of Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein. This is Queen Rania and King Abdullah of Jordan’s first grandchild. The Royal couple of Jordan are now often seen spending their downtime with baby Iman.
    As a mother-in-law

    In August 2022, Queen Rania shared a precious post on her Instagram feed welcome Rajwa to the family. The caption said, “Excited to welcome my third daughter, Al Hussein’s bride-to-be, Rajwa, to the family! We’re so happy for you both.”
    Jordan’s 76th Independence Day
    Seen in traditional outfits, both Queen Rania and her daughter Princess Iman celebrated Jordan’s 76th Independence Day at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman with other members of the royal family. While Princess Iman opted for a subtle co-ord set, Her Majesty wore a traditional jalabiya embellished with colourful embroidery and the duo posed together for a special photo.
    Seen with three generations
    For Mother’s Day 2022, Queen Rania shared an image of all three generations in one portrait. As a tribute to her mother, the pictures included herself and three of her four children – Princess Iman, Princess Salma and Prince Hashem and her mother, Ilham Yassin, all posing with cheerful smiles.
    A birthday moment

    To mark Princess Salma and Princess Iman’s birthdays in 2020, Queen Rania shared a stunning portrait of the three of them to celebrate the occasion.

    To mark Mother’s Day, Queen Rania shared four throwback photos with her four children. Here, she is seen with a young Princess Iman.
    An outing at Beit Al Baraka and Beit Al Ward in Umm Qais
    The royal mother-daughter duo – Queen Rania and Princess Iman, experienced true Jordanian hospitality as they took a trip to the village of Umm Qais in Irbid, while learning about sustainable tourism and its positive impact in the region.
    A New Year family image

    To wish her fans a happy new year, Queen Rania and her royal family look radiant in this formal snap shared on Instagram with her family photo being shared online as she wrote ‘Best wishes from our family to yours as we approach the New Year #Love #Family #Jordan #LoveJO.’ The mother and her daughters shared a rather delightful resemblance as they were adorned in white and posed alongside the rest of the family.

      JordanCongratulations are in order for the Jordanian Royal family as they welcome baby Princess Iman – daughter of Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa.
      The royal family including King Abdullah II, Queen Rania, Princess Iman, Princess Salma and Prince Hashem along with Crown Prince Hussein made their way to the hospital to meet the new royal baby.
      Queen Rania shared a host of images captioning it, “Iman, you’ve already got a hold of my heart. Our family has never been happier,” gushing about her first grand daughter.
      In the joyful carousel, you can see each member of the Jordanian royal family holding the new Princess and showering her with immense love and blessings.

      Queen Rania also shared a heartwarming video of the family wishing Crown Prince Al Hussein on the birth of his baby daughter, as they make their way to the hospital to meet the baby Princess Iman.

      Congratulations are in order for the Jordanian Royal Family — Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Princess Iman, on August 3, 2024.

      The Hashemite Royal Court shared a glimpse of Princess Iman, held by her father, the Crown Prince, while he performed the act of calling the adhan in her ear.

      For her first public appearance after the announcement captured on video, Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein was spotted wearing a jumpsuit from Seraphine and carrying a Bottega Veneta mini tote, showcasing her radiant baby bump as she left THE ABDEEN store in Amman.

      Princess Salma bint Abdullah of Jordan is the third child of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania.
      At just 23-years-old, she’s already achieved an incredible amount and even has some groundbreaking achievements under her belt.
      As she continues to step out into a more public role, here is everything you need to know about Jordan’s history-making Princess Salma.
      She’s made history for women in Jordan

      The beginning of 2020 saw Princess Salma bint Abdullah of Jordan becoming the first female jet pilot in the Jordanian Armed Forces after completing her preliminary pilot training on a fixed-winged aircraft. His Royal Highness King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces pinned the badge to his daughters military uniform, giving his daughter her wings.
      She has a shared connection with Prince William and Prince Harry

      Princess Salma graduated from the UK’s prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2018 when she was just 18 years old. Prince William and Prince Harry also both attended Sandhurst, with Harry completing his commissioning in 2005 and William a year later in 2006. Princess Salma also following in her father and elder brother, Crown Prince Hussein’s footsteps, as well as her older sister Princess Iman’s. Princess Salma was the third child of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II to complete the course at the military academy.
      Her birthday is almost identical to her older sister’s

      Princess Iman is four years older than Princess Salma, however, their birthdays fall just one day apart. Born on 26 September 2000, Princess Salma celebrates her birthday one day before her elder sister, who was born on 27 September 1996.  Due to the close proximity of their birthdays, last year Queen Rania dedicated an Instagram post jointly to the sisters to mark their birthdays, which are just one day apart.
      The caption read, “When my girls are near, love and laughter are never far behind. Happy birthday Iman and Salma.”
      Princess Salma has a close relationship with her brother, Crown Prince Hussein

      Taking to Instagram, Crown Prince Hussein, the oldest of the four siblings, frequently posts about his sister’s achievements. Most notably, when Princess Salma passed-out from Sandhurst the eldest brother posted a photo of himself and Princess Salma, captioning it, “We are always proud of you. With the family at Salma’s Commissioning Parade at Sandhurst today.”
      Her grandfather was the founder of modern Jordan
      The late King Hussein bin Talal, who reigned from 1952 until his death in 1999, was the grandfather of Princess Salma. Known to his people as Al-Malik Al-Insan, or ‘The Humane King’, King Hussein bin Talal was recognized for his work to improve the life of Jordanians. Crown Prince Hussein is also named after his grandfather.
