Here’s when Prince Harry and Prince William are set to reunite

With tensions between the royal family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at an all-time high, distant royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry are set to reunite in a few months.
The pair are set to mark what would’ve been their mother, Princess Diana’s 60th birthday in July with the unveiling of a statue of the late Princess of Wales which was commissioned by the brothers in 2017.

It will mark the first time the brothers will have seen each other face-to-face since Harry was last in the UK in March 2020 prior to his and wife Meghan Markle’s departure as senior royals.
The Duke of Sussex spoke about his strained relationship with his elder brother in the explosive sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired last Sunday in the US.

“As I said before, I love William to bits,” he said. “We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
In the aftermath of the interview, after Buckingham Palace made a statement on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, Prince William spoke out about the tell-all.
He was asked during a public appearance if he had spoken to his brother at all.
No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do,” he said.
The same reporter also asked, “Is the royal family a racist family?” To which William responded, “We are very much not a racist family.”

Meghan Markle says several members of the Royal Family discussed with Harry concerns over what the color of Archie’s skin color would be.

One of the most bombshell revelations in the interview was when Meghan alleged there were conversations between Harry and other family members about how “dark” baby Archie’s skin would be when he’s born.
“In those months when I was pregnant all around the same time, we had in tandem the conversation he wouldn’t be given security, wouldn’t be given a title and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan said, which left interviewer Oprah shocked.
“What?” Oprah said with dismay over her face “And who is having that conversation with you?”
However, both Meghan and Harry refused to state who said this as “it would be very damaging to them.”

The real reason why Meghan and Harry’s son Archie isn’t a prince

It’s been nearly five days since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey was aired.
Some shocking revelations were made during the tell-all, one of which pertained to the royal title of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

When he was born in May 2019, it was announced that he would not be receiving a royal title, something that many thought was down to the decision of Harry and Meghan.
However, in the interview, Meghan claimed ‘The Firm’ did not want Archie to receive a title.

“They were saying they didn’t want him to be a prince or a princess — not knowing what the gender would be — which would be different from protocol,” she said.
But the real reason why Archie doesn’t currently have a title is down to the fact that royal rules state that only grandchildren of the Queen automatically becomes a prince or a princess.

So a grandchild of a Monarch automatically becomes Prince or Princess.Archie is GREAT-grandchild of the Queen. Therefore Meghan is alleging that the Institution was trying to change the future rule when Charles becomes King-and Archie (and sister) are the Monarch’s grandchildren
    — Chris Ship (@chrisshipitv) March 8, 2021

Since Archie is a great-grandchild of the monarch, a title was not extended to him. However, for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children, an exception was made years ago, perhaps due to the fact William is direct in line to the throne after his father, Prince Charles.
It could be assumed, that once the Prince of Wales becomes king, Archie could very well become a prince, something that was noted by Meghan during the interview.
“When Harry’s dad becomes king, automatically Archie and our next baby would become prince or princess,” Meghan said.

In response to the interview, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on behalf of the Queen on Tuesday night stating she was “saddened” by the couple’s hardships, adding the racism allegations would be dealt with “privately”.

In the initial interview, Meghan Markle discussed her relationship with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, clarifying a story which had been falsely reported on in the tabloids.

However, “the reverse happened”, according to Meghan. “A few days before the wedding she [Kate] was upset about something, pertaining to – yes the issue was correct – about the flower girl dresses, and it made me cry. And it really hurt my feelings,” she explained. However, the pair resolved things and Kate sent a bouquet of flowers to Meghan to apologise.

In a new clip which was aired, Meghan compared her situation to Kate’s when joining the royal family.
Prior to marrying Prince William, the pair had been in a relationship for several years and the Duchess of Cambridge had been dubbed “Waity Katie” by the tabloids.

“If members of his family say, ‘Well, this is what happened to all of us,’ or if they can compare what the experience that I went through was similar to what has been shared with us – Kate was called Waity Katie waiting to marry William,” she said.
However, while she noted that Kate would have faced scrutiny from the press which would have been “hard”, it was not the same situation she, herself, was in.

“While I imagine that was really hard, and I do, I can’t picture what that felt like. This is not the same,” she said. “And if a member of this family will comfortably say, ‘We’ve all had to deal with things that are rude.’
“Rude and racist are not the same. And equally, you’ve also had a press team that goes on the record to defend you, especially when they know something’s not true. And that didn’t happen for us.”
In response to the interview, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on behalf of the Queen on Tuesday night stating she was “saddened” by the couple’s hardships, adding the racism allegations would be dealt with “privately”.
