Where you can travel to freely from the UAE if you have the COVID-19 vaccine

As the UAE continues to be a leader in its COVID-19 vaccination rate, more than 6.5 million doses have been administered nationwide.
With the mass vaccination plan in place, it aims to help boost the tourism industry recover, with many countries implementing digital medical records to show those who have had their vaccine.

As a result, many countries have opened their borders to those with both vaccine doses or waiving any mandatory quarantine rules for those tourists.
With that, here’s where you can travel to freely from the UAE if you have the COVID-19 vaccine.
    Cyprus

At the end of last year, Cyprus became the first country that announced it would allow visitors in who have had their full COVID-19 vaccines with no need to quarantine.
Back in January, it was initially announced that these guidelines would come into effect on March 1, but this has not been the case as of yet and is yet to be confirmed by the Cypriot government.
The move, however, is to boost tourism towards the country, according to the country’s transport minister Yiannis Karousos.
“The amended action plan is expected to further boost the interest of airline companies to carry out additional flights to Cyprus, improve connectivity and increase passenger traffic,” he told the Cyprus Mail back in December 2020.
    Georgia

According to Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, those who have both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, along with the documents to prove it, they can enter the country without having to quarantine. Entry restrictions were lifted for those with vaccinations back in February.
    Romania

It was announced back in January by the country’s National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) that visitors who are vaccinated did not have to quarantine.
    Seychelles
Last week, the Seychelles announced its intent to reopen its borders to all countries at the end of March.
The island getaway’s government announced that borders would reopen on March 25 to visitors. In line with safety protocols, a negative COVID-19 PCR test will be required to be taken within 72 hours of departure to the Seychelles.
Prior to this, if you wanted to travel to the Seychelles and avoid quarantine, visitors were required to have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Here’s when Prince Harry and Prince William are set to reunite

With tensions between the royal family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at an all-time high, distant royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry are set to reunite in a few months.
The pair are set to mark what would’ve been their mother, Princess Diana’s 60th birthday in July with the unveiling of a statue of the late Princess of Wales which was commissioned by the brothers in 2017.

It will mark the first time the brothers will have seen each other face-to-face since Harry was last in the UK in March 2020 prior to his and wife Meghan Markle’s departure as senior royals.
The Duke of Sussex spoke about his strained relationship with his elder brother in the explosive sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey which aired last Sunday in the US.

“As I said before, I love William to bits,” he said. “We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
In the aftermath of the interview, after Buckingham Palace made a statement on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, Prince William spoke out about the tell-all.
He was asked during a public appearance if he had spoken to his brother at all.
No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do,” he said.
The same reporter also asked, “Is the royal family a racist family?” To which William responded, “We are very much not a racist family.”

Meghan Markle says several members of the Royal Family discussed with Harry concerns over what the color of Archie’s skin color would be.

    — Lynnette KhalfaniCox (@themoneycoach) March 8, 2021

One of the most bombshell revelations in the interview was when Meghan alleged there were conversations between Harry and other family members about how “dark” baby Archie’s skin would be when he’s born.
“In those months when I was pregnant all around the same time, we had in tandem the conversation he wouldn’t be given security, wouldn’t be given a title and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan said, which left interviewer Oprah shocked.
“What?” Oprah said with dismay over her face “And who is having that conversation with you?”
However, both Meghan and Harry refused to state who said this as “it would be very damaging to them.”
