      Patricia Anglade, an expert in branding and brand manager of German luxury kitchen appliances brand Gaggenau, found the right strategy and execution to transform the label.

The growth and reach of the brand has been exponential, and this is largely in part due to Anglade and her exceptional brand team. They have understood the market (and the assignment) and they have delivered.

      First established in 1683, Gaggenau is a brand with an extensive history and a remarkable legacy. Taking this rich heritage, the team have repositioned this as a high-end creative lifestyle brand for the region. Recognized for its elegant design and robust craftsmanship, the team tapped into these aspects of the brand’s essence and are brandishing Gaggenau’s artistic flair.
      This was exemplified at Gaggenau’s recent Blank Canvas Dining experience in Dubai. Anglade and her team orchestrated what was a masterpiece in itself, in which they collaborated with renowned figures, chef Hadrien Villeudieu and artist Kaveh Ahangar, to reinforce this new brand position.
      Villeudieu and Ahangar put on a delectable display that saw art tantalise taste buds, as well as ignite awe in the guests’ eyes. Aptly titled ‘An Exploration of Inspiration’, the enchanting evening was masterfully choreographed. With each course came a complementary piece of art from the big picture, so that with each new bite, a bite-sized piece of art was revealed.

      This unique event served as a statement of the brand’s outstanding culinary capabilities as a high-end appliance, and its new artistic and creative direction.
      This type of unexpected, innovative approach to brand building is a key component to the success of any brand. What Anglade has done, and is doing, is future-proofing the heritage brand with style – her journey is inspiring and is also definitely one to watch.

      Everything to know about Miss India World 2022

      Miss India World 2022 has officially been crowned.
      Sini Shetty took home the title over the weekend at the competition which took place in the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
      So, who exactly is Sini Shetty?
      The 21-year-old was born in Mumbai and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is currently pursuing her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
      Originally hailing from Karnataka, the newly crowned Miss India World is a trained classical Indian dancer who has been raised with a passion for her artistic and academic endeavours.

      While Shetty was crowned the winner out of all the finalists for Miss India World, it was a rigorous competition with all contestants going through months of training, learning from the best in the industry.
      Several leading Bollywood celebrities and fashion designers including Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea and Malaika Arora were present as judges for the competition. Neha Dhupia, a previous Miss India World winner herself, was also present at the event as both a mentor and a guide for women who participated in fulfilling their dreams.
      Auditions for the positions took place via a virtual format to attract nationwide talent and find the most deserving after shortlisting a total of 31 state winners. The tedious scouting process gives two other talented individuals including Rajasthan’s Rubal Shekhawat the first runner-up title and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh the second runner-up title.

      The stellar evening consisted of breathtaking performances from remarkable talent in the industry such as Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, dancer Lauren Gottlieb and more.
      The pageant was established 70 years ago and a few Miss India winners have gone on to win the much-coveted title of Miss World – Aishwarya Rai in 1994, Priyanka Chopra in 2000 and Manushi Chillar in 2017.

      Eid Al Adha 2022: UAE residents to potentially have a four-day long weekend

      Get ready to pack your bags as another long weekend awaits us.
      The UAE has released dates for when Eid Al Adha 2022 is most likely to fall next week.
      Known as the festival of sacrifice on the 10th Islamic month Dhul Hijjah, the festival follows the Hijri Lunar calendar. This period honour the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, to obey Allah’s command, but a lamb was sacrificed instead.
      Per The Emirates Astronomy Society, the holiday dates revealed after the sighting of the crescent moon or by astrological calculations are most likely to be from Friday, July 8, 2022, until Monday, July 11, 2022.
      With Saturday, July 9, 2022, most likely to be the first day of Eid Al Adha, Arafat Day will fall a day before, counting toward the upcoming long Eid holidays.
      So if you’re looking to take a break, without the added hassle of travelling, Emirates Woman has curated a guide of all the luxe staycations to book for a quick escape in the UAE. If you wish to travel without the COVID-19 restrictions, Emirates Woman has made a list of all the countries that are easy to book without any PCR test or vaccination certificate requirements.
      The exact holiday dates for both public and private sectors are to be announced closer to Eid Al Adha. Keep a close watch for confirmed dates, that are set to be revealed soon.

      A couple of weeks later it’s the Hijri New Year. Falling on Muharram 1, it’s projected to fall around July 30, 2022.
      The Prophet’s Birthday
      The Prophet Mohammed’s birthday will fall on the 12 of the Hijri month of Rabi Al Awwal, which is predicted to be around October 8, 2022.
      Commemoration Day and National Day
      To close out 2022, those in the UAE will have another break to look forward to with Commemoration Day, December 1, and National Day, December 2.

      Besides her full-time career as an Emirates cabin crew member, Luciana Tanase has also founded her own fashion label, I-LO.       Yassmine El Kholy

      With over 11 years of flying experience, Maria Soldatova is a long-standing Emirates cabin crew member.       Danai has visited over 48 countries as an Emirates flight attendant. Originally from Greece, she has established herself as a travel content creator with her pictures from around the globe. From surfing to skydiving, she’s always on a mission to try out new activities while sharing her fashion inspiration. Her loyal fan base is always keen to see where she’s off to next and what her outfits are.
      Margot

      With long-haul flights and numerous hours spent on air, Margot started her own YouTube channel and is now a part-time vlogger. With all the new countries she has visited, she shares snippets of her life as a cabin crew member, her channel has reached over 51,000 subscribers.
      Hana Brvar

      This Slovenian cabin crew member has travelled to a host of countries around the world. After pursuing her law degree, she decided to become a full-time flight attendant and makes time for her hobby as a professional ski instructor. From Portugal to Sri Lanka, she has seen the world and constantly shares photos of her travel experiences.
      Olia Podvolotskaya

      Podvolotskaya wears many hats. Along with being an Emirates cabin crew, she has been a dancer for 18 years and is also a part-time English and German teacher and interpreter. In May 2022, she officially completed her training programme and is now a full-time flight attendant for Emirates.
