In the letter, he said, “God has blessed me with an unwavering companion, who has stood by my side in constant devotion to this nation.” With his deep appreciation for Queen rania, he shared how she played a pivitol role in his journey over the years.
    A special iftar together

    Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan hosted an iftar in Aqaba, Jordan In April 2022. Together with their eldest son Crown Prince Hussein, the royals travelled to the southern city of Jordan which is close to the border of Saudi Arabia, to visit a group of orphans. The royals arrived in Aqaba where they were greeted by staff and children just before iftar. Queen Rania shared a series of videos on her Instagram story of herself, King Abdullah and Crown Prince Hussein spending time with orphans as they all sat down to break their fast together.
    A visit to the UAE

    The couple paid a royal visit to Abu Dhabi, UAE, in November of 2021. They received a warm welcome from the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. Following their visit to the UAE, Queen Rania shared a heartfelt message about always having the “fondest memories” when coming to the country.
    A Valentine’s Day celebration

    In February 2017, the couple celebrated the occasion with a stunning heart-shaped cake topped with fresh roses.
