Kylie Jenner criticised for asking fans to help pay for makeup artist’s surgery

Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist Samuel Rauda – who is also known as ‘makeupbysamuel’ on Instagram – was in a tragic accident over the weekend which resulted in him needing surgery.A GoFundMe page was set up by his family in order to help cover his medical costs.Jenner shared the link to the page 222 million followers on Instagram saying, “May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families go fund me.”However, the makeup mogul has received some backlash on social media for asking fans to help pay for the makeup artist’s surgery when Jenner is seemingly a billionaire. As per Rauda’s GoFundMe page, he had brain surgery in early March after he was in an accident. To cover the medical costs, his family are hoping to raise $120,000, of which they have raised $97,000.Jenner appeared to have donated $5,000 to the page, but many on social media criticised the star for asking her fans to donate when she makes an estimated $450,000 per day.
wait so kylie jenner’s make up artist got into a car accident and needed $60k for emergency brain surgery and she asked her fans to donate???? and then only donated $5,000 when she’s a literal billionaire? the wrong people have money.

So Kylie Jenner who apparently earns over $450k A DAY and is a billionaire shared the 60k gofundme of her friend who got in an accident for us poor people to donate to? Celebrities are a different breed.

Folks are defending Kylie Jenner by pointing out she donated $5,000 to her makeup artist’s medical GoFundMe. Her net worth is $900M.
So, that’s 0.000006% of her net worth.
If your net worth were, say, $100k, it would be like donating 56 cents.

Zayn Malik gives insight into parenthood with girlfriend Gigi Hadid

Six months after welcoming his first child with his girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik has opened up about his life as a new father to baby Khai Hadid-Malik.In an interview with iHeartRadio 104.3 FM, Malik gushed about how “amazing” fatherhood is and how easy his daughter is as a baby.“Honestly, she’s an amazing baby,” he said. “It’s been really easy for me and Gigi to kind of just ease into it.”He also added, “She kind of made it easy for us – she sleeps really well, she loves her milk. It’s just feeding and changing diapers at the moment.”Prior to the pandemic, both Malik and Hadid were living very busy lives with him on tour as a singer and Hadid travelling as a model. However, the new dad also admitted it’s been a relatively smooth transition into a slower pace of life following the pandemic and becoming a father.“It’s a really different pace of life, but it’s been really easy to adjust to it, for sure,” he explained. “I think that’s the most surprising thing.”The meaning of baby Khai’s nameFollowing the birth of their daughter, the couple kept her name under wraps for a few months, with Hadid subtly revealing her name on Instagram back in January.Turns out, there’s a special meaning behind baby Khai’s name.Khai means “crowned”, “the chosen one” or “strong” in some Arabic terms and dialects. The name was also chosen as it pays tribute to her late grandmother, Khairia, on her father Mohamed Hadid’s side of the family, according to TMZ.Hadid’s father has previously claimed his late mother descended from royalty. “Her great grandfather was the Prince of Nazareth – King of Galilee in the 18th century Daher Al-Omer The Ruler,” he previously said.Welcoming their new baby girlHadid and Malik announced the birth of their first-born via social media back in September. The new mum took to Instagram to announce the news shortly sharing a sweet photo of her daughter’s hand.“Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world,” she captioned the photo. “So in love.”While the new parents have now revealed their baby girl’s name to the world, she’s still keeping her face hidden from the public view to protect her privacy, something which she has done throughout her pregnancy.– For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and InstagramImages: Gigi Hadid Instagram More

It has been announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention that the COVID-19 vaccine is now available to all of those who are over the age of 16.Following a period of six weeks where certain age groups and those who were most at risk of infection were prioritised, the Ministry is now urging all of those who are eligible to receive the vaccine to book in as soon as possible.UAE citizens and residents who are aged 16 and above are able to receive the vaccination for free at any of the 205 vaccination centres available across the nation. It was highlighted by the Ministry that a booking is required for all those eligible to receive their vaccine as those who are most vulnerable will continue to be prioritised without a booking. It was outlined by the UAE earlier this year that the government aimed to have 50 per cent of the population vaccinated by March, a goal which has now been surpassed. It was confirmed by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, that as of Saturday 56.59 per cent of the eligible population had been vaccinated against COVID-19, while 72.89 per cent of elderly citizens and residents and those with chronic diseases had been inoculated against the disease. At present, there are four COVID-19 vaccines available in the UAE.The first vaccine to be approved in the UAE was the Sinophram vaccine, followed by the Pfizer vaccine being permitted in Dubai towards the end of last year.In January, Russia’s Sputnik V was approved for emergency use.
