    We’re taking our workouts outdoors this season…
    If, like us, you’re firmly in your wellness era, then combining days by the sea with a feel-good workout is the dream way to start the day. And this season, Dubai really understood the assignment.
    Because as well as the usual high-octane DJ sets and gourmet dining, many beach clubs in Dubai are also now offering yoga HIIT and Pilates workouts, too.
    Here are 5 beach club workouts for wellness lovers in Dubai. 
    Be Beach

    Sophie Malpass founded Super SUP Fit to bring unique HIIT workouts to pools across Dubai. Her floating workouts take place at locations including Nikki Beach and Drift, but boho luxe Be Beach at Dubai Harbour is the brand’s newest location. Taking place every Friday, the aqua-based workout has space for ten across the infinity pool, and is split into three rounds of 8 workouts. There’s classes at 8am and 9am, and you can either book just the workout for AED157.50 or a workout, then a healthy breakfast and all-day pool access with no minimum spend for AED288.75.

    Verde Beach

    Take your workout alfresco this month with SEVEN Wellness. The emporium of all things fitness and wellness in Al Quoz is teaming up with chic Verde Beach to offer new yoga classes by the beach every Tuesday and Sunday. Wake up with a session so serious stretching backdropped by Burj Al Arab views and the sounds of the gently lapping waves with a 9am class on the beach. You’ll need to bring your own mat and water, and can stick around afterwards for a healthy breakfast of avo toast or an acai bowl with coffee or healthy juices (paid separately). Book via the Seven Wellness app.

    African Queen

    Refined hotspot African Queen brings retro St Tropez cool to J1 Beach. But as well as sun-drenched days poolside and Mediterranean dining in the vibrant restaurant, you can now start the day every Tuesday by stretching through a yoga class. The one-hour yoga session takes place at 9am and is limited to 20 guests. Afterwards, enjoy a nutritious breakfast of options like poached eggs and avo toast, Greek yoghurt and granola or wholewheat pancakes for AED250.

    Aura Skypool

    Aura might not be a beach club, but this zen-inducing 360-degree infinity pool is a sanctuary in the sky. Before it packs out with pool-goers who begin to arrive from 10am, Aura Skypool offers wellness sessions on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Mondays, you can start the day with a 6.30am power fit class, designed to burn those calories as you gaze out over the palm fronds, or at 8am water yoga is a more relaxing way to wind into the working week. Both are priced at AED280 and followed by a nourishing breakfast. On Thursdays, find your zen with a sound healing session at 8pm for AED180. Then Saturdays are for yoga, with a vinyasa class at 6.30am and yoga dance at 8am, both inclusive of breakfast and priced at AED280.

    The 305

    Bringing Miami cool to The Club at Palm West Beach is The 305. This candy-hued beach club is one of the city’s most Instagrammable spots, and its ‘Wellness Wednesday’ package has your whole day covered. Your day starts with poolside Pilates at 8am backdropped by the picturesque Marina view. Then, you’ll get a sun lounger to recline at for the rest of the day, plus two healthy beverages and a breakfast or lunch menu designed especially for Wellness Wednesday. The whole package is AED250.

      Bâoli

      From the sun-drenched shores of Cannes comes Baoli, a sprawling restaurant, bar, beach club and late night spot that’s the place to see and be seen in the city right now. For more laidback days in the sun, the pool and beach is where to book, with loungers from AED500 with AED400 redeemable. But the best vibes are found in the restaurant, where Asian and Mediterranean flavours meet to create a haute menu of elevated Dubai dishes designed to share. Think light carpaccio, prettily plated sushi, and fresh fish cooked to order. The best vibes are found as late lunch turns into sunset, and the sundowner DJ sets – especially on weekends kickstart an enigmatic ambience that continues into the early hours.       Sirene by Gaia

      A coastal iteration of elevated Greek restaurant Gaia, Sirene is the newest addition to J1 Beach. This gorgeous Mediterranean beach club and restaurant was worth the wait – its whitewashed interiors are show-stopping. The indoor restaurant spills onto an alfresco terrace, and further down to a lounge, then even further to loungers that dot the beach. Come for the Greek-Mediterranean fare that’s won chef Izu Ani multiple awards, and stay for the party – during late afternoons the tempo ramps up with guests staying late into the night for DJ sets that elevate the ambience. If you’re heading for the sunshine, it’s AED200 for loungers on the beach and AED300 for pool beds.

      Chouchou

      This two-story Parisian beach house oozes French allure. The city’s first members beach house, downstairs offers indoor and alfresco dining, a pool and loungers, while upstairs, a beautiful rooftop awaits. Lots of the spaces are now open for non-members, making it a lovely elegant spot for days of tan-topping or leisurely lunches. On weekends, a duo of brunches offer packages from AED290, while pool days are priced at AED400, fully redeemable.

      Known for the bohemian touch, Gitano hails from Tulum and the tropical-luxe feel oozes through the venue, from the leafy catwalk-style entrance, to the disco balls adoring the outdoor restaurant.       Enter Kyma. Just in time for the cooler temperatures arriving, the luxurious new Grecian-inspired beach club has opened its doors on Dubai’s Palm West Beach.
      The new concept by Rikas Hospitality Group – which is known for some of the most renowned concepts in the emirate including La Cantine du Faubourg, Ninive, Mimi Kakushi, Twiggy and more – and The St. Regis Dubai is set to be the go-to place for winter.
      Taking inspiration from the shores of the Mediterranean, the sophisticated beach club entices guests to escape from the ordinary with a breath of fresh air.
      Earthy tones complete the colour palette of the venue which features an infinity pool, private cabanas, luxe sun loungers, as well as a chic restaurant complete with a high-end curated menu by Gilles Bosquet, the corporate chef at Rikas Hospitality Group.
