‘It was really hard’: Jennifer Aniston breaks silence on infertility struggles

    Lifestyle

Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her journey with IVF (In vitro fertilization) for the first time ever.
In a new cover interview with US magazine Allure, the 53-year-old broke her silence on her infertility and struggles to get pregnant in her 30s and 40s.
For years, Aniston was subject to tabloid speculation when it came to starting a family when she was married to both Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.

But the constant guesswork and reporting surrounding the subject, Aniston admits was “really hard”, particularly as her infertility struggles were unknown to many.
“All the years and years and years of speculation … It was really hard,” she said. “I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it.”
In fact, upon reflection, the actress admits she wishes someone would have told her to freeze her eggs.
“I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favour.’ You just don’t think it,” she explained in the interview. “So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”

However, despite her infertility struggles, she has “zero regrets” and it’s, in fact, given her a sense of closure.
“I have zero regrets,” she said. “I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe’. I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
As for if she’d ever walk down the aisle again, the Friends star said “never say never”, but that it wasn’t on her radar.
“I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support’,” she said. “It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, ‘That was a tough day’.”

Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, is set to wed her fiance Michael Boulos this weekend.
According to reports, the couple will tie the knot this weekend at the former US president’s lavish Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm West Beach Florida with over 500 guests set to attend.
Over the weekend, the bride-to-be’s elder sister, Ivanka Trump, share a photograph with Tiffany on social media revealing they were in Florida celebrating her bridal shower.
“Back in Florida, celebrating my beautiful, brilliant and kind sister @tiffanytrump at her bridal shower,” she said.

    Tiffany Trump’s engagement
Tiffany and Boulos have been engaged for nearly two years. Boulos, who was born in Lebanon and raised in Nigeria, popped the question in January 2021 during former President Trump’s last week in office.

Trump’s daughter posted a photo of herself and Boulos in the White House to announce her engagement, also showcasing her diamond ring which, according to the Daily Mail, was designed by jeweller Samer Halimeh and is worth $1.2 million (Dhs4.4 million).
“It has been an honour to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!” she captioned the photo.
    Relationship timeline
As for how the pair met, they were introduced to one another in Greece in the summer of 2018 at Dubai-based Lindsay Lohan’s club in Mykonos.

The couple were then first seen publicly together at New York Fashion Week that same year.
    Who is Michael Boulos?
Boulos is of Lebanese and French descent but grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where his father, Massad runs Boulos Enterprises and is the CEO of SCOA Nigeria. The 25-year-old has been described as a “billionaire heir” by Vanity Fair.
Boulos eventually moved from Lagos to London to complete his undergraduate degree.

Dubai-based Lindsay Lohan opens up about Kuwaiti husband Bader Shammas

    Lifestyle

    by Olivia Morris

Lindsay Lohan has opened up about married life after tying the knot to Kuwaiti businessman Bader Shammas earlier this year.
In a new cover interview for Cosmopolitan US, the Mean Girls actress gushed about her “amazing husband”.
“I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person,” she told the outlet. “Just the best. And my family.”
The actress also added that she has a “small group of good friends who are just really good people”.
“That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones,” she said.
    A new bride
Lohan revealed she secretly wed Shammas back in July in an Instagram post to mark her 36th birthday, where she referred to the financier as her “husband”.

Lohan shared a photo with her now-husband, saying she was the “luckiest woman in the world”. The star also appeared to be wearing a diamond wedding band paired with her engagement ring.
“You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” she said in the caption. “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.”
    The couple’s relationship timeline
Lohan and Shammas announced their engagement back in November 2021 after reportedly dating for around two years.
Lohan, who has been in the spotlight since she was 11, has been very private about her relationship and not much is known about her husband except he is also based in Dubai working as a financier. Shammas works as an Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, a global investment bank and financial services firm.
The actress relocated to Dubai back in 2014. Lohan, who is a former Emirates Woman cover star, previously opened up about her move to the UAE.

“Moving here was a fresh start,” she told EW. “You hear more about real current events rather than celebrity gossip, which I really appreciate.”
She also added one of the main reasons she moved to Dubai was due to the “lack of paparazzi”.
The 36-year-old is set to make a return to the spotlight and acting with her new Netflix film Falling for Christmas, set to be released on November 10, 2022.

Anne Hathaway opens up about the rigorous hate she received after 2012 Oscar win

    Lifestyle

    by Olivia Morris

Anne Hathaway is arguably one of the most successful actresses of this generation.
Having starred in iconic hits including The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Night Rises, Bride Wars and more, the actress is one of the biggest names in Hollywood.
However, it hasn’t always been a smooth ride for the 39-year-old who reflected on the era of ‘Hathahate’ she received following her 2012 Oscar win for her critically-acclaimed performance in Les Miserables.
Speaking at the Elle USA ‘Women in Hollywood’ event earlier this week, Hathaway opened up about the period of her life a decade ago where she saw “the language of hatred from a new perspective”.

“Ten years ago, I was given an opportunity to look at the language of hatred from a new perspective,” she said. “For context – this was a language I had employed with myself since I was seven.
“And when your self-inflicted pain is suddenly somehow amplified back at you at, say, the full volume of the internet … It’s a thing.”
At the time, many would argue Hathaway was at the top of her game with her Academy Award, the actress swept the board when it came to awards season that year. However, what accompanied it was an onslaught of hostility in the media and from the public.
Fast-forward a decade, Hathaway is taking the opportunity to change the directive when it comes to hate saying, she “would no longer hold space for it”, adding that it is possible to unlearn such behaviours and thoughts.
“The good news about hate being learned is that whoever learned it can learn,” she said. “There is a brain there. I hope they give themselves a chance to relearn love.”

The ‘plot twist’ with Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber no one saw coming

    Lifestyle

    by Olivia Morris

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber are officially putting the past behind them.
The pair both attended the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures 2nd Annual Gala presented by Rolex on Saturday, where they unexpectedly posed for a series of photographs together – a move no one saw coming.
The photographs, which have gone viral on social media, were taken by Tyrell Hampton. The photographer shared one of the images on his Instagram page which he captioned “plot twist”, which is perhaps the only way to describe it.

These photographs come after Bieber recently appeared on popular Spotify podcast Call Her Daddy where she opened up to host Alex Cooper about the rumours she “stole” her now-husband Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez following their eight-year on-off relationship.
The 26-year-old flatly denied any crossover ever occurring with Gomez’s relationship with Justin saying, “I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That’s the end of it.”
The model also addressed the ongoing slew of hate she had received online over the years due to her relationship with Justin.
Days after the podcast was released Gomez took to TikTok appearing to address what Bieber had discussed during her tell-all interview, saying there is no place for bullying in her community.

“I think some of the things that I don’t even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting, and it’s not fair, and no one, ever, should be spoken to in the manner that I’ve seen,” she said.
Bieber, formerly Hailey Baldwin, married Justin in November 2018 after the pair got engaged in July 2018. The pair had reconciled their relationship just a month earlier in June 2018, after previously dating in 2015 and 2016.
At the time, Justin had just split from long-term girlfriend Gomez whom he had dated on and off between December 2010 to March 2018.
After the pair split for the final time in March, this led many fans to conclude there was a crossover between Gomez and Bieber and has led to an onslaught of online hate.
Well, in true “plot twist” fashion, both women have proven there is no bad blood at all. We love to see it.

Khloé Kardashian reveals skin cancer scare, has tumour removed from her face

    Beauty

    by Olivia Morris

Khloé Kardashian has opened up about her recent skin cancer scare.
Sharing a series of Instagram stories and photos, the 38-year-old shared with her fans the story behind the “ever-evolving” bandage on her face.
The reality star revealed that she had to have a tumour removed from her face after noticing a “bump” that wouldn’t seem to go away even after seven months.
While she assumed it was “something as minor as a zit”, it wasn’t “budging”, Kardashian decided to get it biopsied.
Following her biopsy, the star was told she needed to have “an immediate operation to remove a tumour from my face”.

“I called none other than Dr Garth Fischer, a dear friend of my family’s and one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills who I knew would take incredible care of my face,” she explained. “I’m grateful to share that Dr Fischer was able to get everything – all my margins appear clear and now we are onto the healing process.”
Kardashian added that her fans will continue to see her with bandages on her face until she’s allowed to take them off and then “you’ll probably see a scar (and an indention [sic] in my cheek from the tumour being removed)”.
Kardashian had been seen sporting a bandage on her face during Paris and Milan Fashion Week, leading some fans to ask what had happened.
This prompted Kardashian to discuss the operation to raise awareness about skin cancer to “remind everyone to get checked, and frequently”.

It’s not the first time Kardashian has had a scare. At 19, she had melanoma on her back, which she had removed at the time, so she highlighted she is “pre-composed to melanomas”.
Melanoma is the 17th most common cancer worldwide, according to the World Cancer Research Fund, and a celebrity like Kardashian talking about their experience only helps to raise awareness.

‘I’m in a different place’: Kourtney K reveals she’s drifted from her family

    Lifestyle

    by Olivia Morris

They may be one of the most famous families in the world, but even the Kardashian-Jenners face their fair share of “normal” familial issues.
The eldest of the Kardashian-Jenner kids, Kourtney Kardashian, has opened up about how she’s drifted from some of her family members as of late.
Appearing on the popular podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, the reality star and entrepreneur revealed she’s now “in a different place” admitting she’s not as close with younger sister Khloe Kardashian.
“I think just life isn’t the same,” she explained. “I think I’m in a different place.”

Further expanding on her relationship with Khloe, the 43-year-old explained her younger sister became very close with their other sister Kim Kardashian after the pair welcomed daughters True and Chicago around the same time.
“I just felt like they really bonded,” Kourtney said. “They were going through the same things. That’s when I was unhappy with the show [Keeping Up With The Kardashians], partially because of [Khloe and Kim] kind of ganging up [on me].
“I felt like it was almost everything that Khloe and I had done to Kim, and then they were like kind of flipping it on me.”
However, during the interview, Kourtney also opened up about how she has been on a journey to become “more self-aware” by undergoing therapy.
Admitting she was “really sensitive” and that “nobody could say something mean to me because I would say something 20 times meaner back”, things are different for the Poosh founder now.
