Hotel Indigo, a global boutique chain of properties, is opening its flagship location in the region and can be found on the banks of the Dubai Creek.

Set to open in October, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is a stone’s throw from several iconic landmarks and attractions and is also pet friendly.
The newest launch takes inspiration from the story of the Creek that has been the city’s epicentre of trade. All of the 269 rooms are inspired by the story of the waterway– whether that’s through the surrealist wallpaper exclusively created by local artists, bespoke shisha lamps or the wardrobes with carved wooden doors, hand-crafted in Mashrabiya style with a modern twist.

The mother-of-pearl bathrooms pay homage to the country’s heritage of pearl diving, while eye-catching vibrant Moroso designer furniture adds a contemporary touch to the interior.As for the dining options you have Open Sesame, a relaxed eatery offering a vast selection of healthy and wholesome dishes as well as brewing Dubai’s finest locally roasted speciality coffee with partner Café Rider Custom Roastery.

For a pick-me-up smoothie head to the Juice Bar/Concept Store, Bakala Jooos or, if you’re in search of a fun night out, swing by the Satwa-inspired cocktail bar Off The Wall for uniquely crafted cocktails saturated with graffiti art that tells a story of the Satwa’s vibrancy.Located on the second floor over-looking Downtown, the aptly named Orange Feels offers a vast selection of Aperol based cocktails for those who enjoy the hugely popular orange beverage. The lively pool deck bar offers something for everyone; those looking to unwind poolside can relax in the sun by day or enjoy shisha and the chilled beats on a raised DJ platform by night.
Guests wanting to de-stress or relax can visit the wellness deck where they can work up a sweat in the gym, find headspace in the yoga studio or lap-it-out in the 25-metre infinity pool.As part of the Hotel Indigo® brand ethos, the hotel has supported local creatives through their close associations with the Alserkal Cultural Foundation, Tashkeel and XVA gallery. The hotel boasts over 200 pieces of art and local design as well as intricately designed carpet on the lobby floor, created through a partnership with the Fatima Bint Mohammed Bin Zayed Initiative (FBMI).
The rates start from AED 349 per room per night including breakfast.

A shiny new restaurant is about to open its doors in Dubai and it already has some famous friends sharing their excitement for the unveiling.
One of them is the father of Bella and Gigi Hadid, Mohamed Hadid, who took to Instagram to give a shoutout to his friend and the Executive Chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Dubai, Axel Manes.

“So proud of my dearest friend Axel, “ he wrote before adding “Call him by name Axel. Tell him you know me. He will welcome you with open arms.”

The new grandfather to Gigi Hadid’s baby girl has a part to play in the newest restaurant in DIFC as it will be his caviar brand served to the customers. HADID Caviar has numerous celebrity fans and has been intensely vetted for sustainable production practices and the very highest quality.
We don’t need much persuading to book a table at the latest DIFC hotspot that already boasts restaurants across 12 cities, including New York, Paris and London. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Dubai will feature an open-plan main dining room floor, a bar area and an expansive outdoor terrace.

Foodies will notice a distinctive Joël Robuchon style, focused on the brand’s signature red and black but elevated with touches of brass and metallic for a modern twist. Sounds like the perfect spot to wear your Louboutins.
The kitchen will be headed up by Manes, one of the youngest chefs to have received a Michelin star, who trained under his mentor for many years. The menu will focus on healthy and seasonal ingredients, selected from over 100 different producers, favouring dishes with only a few elements.

Manes’ authentic cuisine will set the tone for a 2.0 version of Joel Robuchon’s signature dishes, offering the best of French cuisine and the finest of fine dining in a refined yet informal atmosphere. Highlights include a selection of Robuchon’s signature dishes including a crispy poached egg with caviar, truffle pizza, Dover sole à la plancha, and a delicious selection of fish as well as vegetarian ceviches and carpaccios – all prepared in front of the guests.
A business lunch option will also be available from Sunday to Thursday priced at Dhs129 for a three-course menu.
L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon Dubai opens on October 6 and is located in Gate Village 11, Podium Level.

“Unfortunately, PSL (pumpkin spice latte) won’t be available this year due to Business and Operations reasons. We encourage you to stay tuned on our channels for our upcoming drinks.”

Sold in more than 50 countries, the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte is one of the biggest sellers for the coffee chain and according to Forbes brings in about Dh367 million each season.
