Holders of expired UAE visit visas have four days to leave the country

Any holders of UAE visit or tourist visas have only until September 11 to leave the UAE or change their visa status to avoid heavy fines.
This applies to any visa expired after March 1 who were given a month from August 11 to leave the country fine-free. However, the new deadline is fast approaching which means you either have to book a flight out or update the permit status to visit or employment.

This is the latest announcement from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and follows the information shared on Twitter almost a month ago, which read.
“The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship extends the grace period for holders of expiring entry permits, starting from 11/8/2020 for a period of one month, with the aim of enabling them to leave the country with exemption from all fines during this period,” the statement from the authority read.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, ICA, issued a decision to extend the deadline for holders of expired entry permits and visas from 11th August, 2020, for one month, to enable them to leave the country and exempt them from all resulting fines.#ICA pic.twitter.com/NLrlZSHf91

According to the UAE government’s official website, fines currently stand at Dhs200 for the first day of overstay and Dhs100 for each consecutive day, as well as a Dhs100 service fee.
Last month, it was confirmed that those with expired residency visas can benefit from an extended grace period which is now in place until November 18.

Palazzo Versace Dubai creates the ultimate spa, blow dry and pool pass deal

September feels like a good time for a 2020 reset and what better way to kick off that “new me” mentality than at a stylish spa.
Palazzo Versace Dubai has created an exclusive spacation offer to help you switch off while enveloped in the glamorous setting of The SPA before spending some more of your time off at the hotel’s Instagrammable swimming pools.

Your out of office kicks off with a soothing foot bath ritual, followed by a relaxing 30-minute back massage. A mini 30-minute facial will ensure your complexion is given the TLC it deserves, while a classic manicure at The SPA Nail Studio, using Italian Fedua products, is the ideal finishing touch to your pampering experience.

Your day doesn’t have to stop there. After your treatment make sure to apply some SPF50 and head out to Palazzo Versace’s Central or West pools to catch some post-treatment rays – La Piscina can be accessed with an additional minimum spend of Dhs100 for ladies and Dhs200 for men. Otherwise, you can finally catch up on your reading list at one of the poolside cabanas. Before heading home, finish off the day with an indulgent hair wash and blow-dry at The SPA Hair Salon.

If you don’t want the relaxation to end there, extend your experience by getting a complimentary one night stay when you spend Dhs1,600 on spa or dining experiences.

Why Chrissy Teigen is getting botox during her pregnancy

Last month, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend revealed the exciting news that they’re expecting their third baby.
Giving her fans an update on her pregnancy, Teigen revealed she’s been getting Botox but not for cosmetic reasons, as some might assume.

She revealed on Twitter she’s been getting severe “pregnancy headaches”, adding that she was cleared to undergo neck muscle botox in order to combat the pain.
“I get really, really bad pregnancy headaches,” she explained. “[I] was thrilled to be cleared to do neck muscle botox along with a crazy combo of beta blocker shots and radio wave frequency something something [sic] doctor terms.”

    — chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) September 5, 2020

Teigen also explained that she receives treatment from a neurologist to administer the injectable rather than a cosmetic doctor as it is “a lot better and safer because they talk to your OB”.
A few weeks ago the 34-year-old – who is already mum to Luna, four, and two-year-old Miles – detailed the “funny story” about how she discovered she was pregnant after undergoing surgery in June to remove her breast implants.
“A few weeks after surgery, I took a test,” she explained. “And for many years now, I’ve taken pregnancy tests almost every month, praying to see a positive one day. Just wishful thinking. I never had a positive before.”

    — chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) August 15, 2020

On the morning of husband John Legend’s latest album release, Teigen explained he had gotten up at 3am for an interview, which prompted her to get up and take her routine monthly pregnancy test.
“I woke up with him and was like man, should take my monthly test to be disappointed… I was not disappointed,” she said.
With her first two children Teigen fell pregnant after undergoing IVF – a treatment she has been very open about – so, she was never sure if it would be possible for her to fall pregnant without fertility treatment.
Lo and behold, she did. “When you give up on trying, life has a way of surprising you,” she said.
