Earlier this week, after keeping it secret for a little over four months, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik finally revealed the name of their daughter.
Hadid announced their baby girl’s name on Instagram with a subtle change of her Instagram profile to say, “Khai’s mom”.

And it seems the baby Khai’s name has a link to her supermodel auntie, Bella Hadid.
The 24-year-old’s full name is ‘Isabella Khair Hadid’, meaning her middle name is very similar to her niece’s.

Both Khai and Khair appear to link back to their Palestinian heritage as Mohamed Hadid’s mother was called Khairiah.
The property tycoon has previously claimed his late mother descended from royalty. “Her great grandfather was the Prince of Nazareth – King of Galilee in the 18th century Daher Al-Omer The Ruler,” he previously said.
Regardless, it’s a lovely link for auntie and niece to share.
The name Khai also has a special meaning behind it in Arabic – in some terms it means “crowned”, “the chosen one” or “strong”.

Hadid and Malik announced the birth of their first-born via social media back in September.
The new mum took to Instagram to announce the news shortly sharing a sweet photo of her daughter’s hand.

“Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world,” she captioned the photo. “So in love.”
While the new mum has now revealed her baby girl’s name to the world, she’s still keeping her face hidden from the public view to protect her privacy, something which she has done throughout her pregnancy.

With an already extensive tattoo collection, Zayn Malik’s recent addition is probably the most meaningful of them all – his daughter’s name.
This comes after Gigi Hadid revealed their baby girl’s name on Instagram with a subtle change of her Instagram profile to say, “Khai’s mom”.

Now, it’s been spotted by Hadid-Malik fans that the former One Direction singer had a new inking in an Instagram live he was in last week. The new ink is Khai’s name in Arabic.

The meaning of baby Khai’s name
Not only is Khai a beautiful name, but there’s also a truly special meaning behind the moniker.
Khai means “crowned”, “the chosen one” or “strong” in some Arabic terms. The name was also chosen as it pays tribute to her late grandmother, Khairia, on her father Mohamed Hadid’s side of the family, according to TMZ.

Grammy Award-winning artist and DJ David Guetta is set to perform in Dubai next month.
Given the current restrictions on live entertainment, the concert will be virtual, but Guetta will physically be here in Dubai.

On February 6, 2021, the superstar will be performing from the helipad of Dubai’s seven-star hotel and landmark the Burj Al Arab.
The virtual extravaganza aims to raise funds for UNICEF and the Dubai Cares Education Uninterrupted campaign, which is currently tackling the impact that the pandemic has had on education for children in the UAE.

In a statement, Guetta shared his excitement at the prospect of returning to Dubai, a city which means a lot to him.
“After Miami, New York and the Louvre in Paris, I am very proud to announce that we’re heading to the top of the iconic Burj Al-Arab Jumeirah for another United At Home show, this time in a city that is dear to my heart: Dubai,” he said.
“Thanks to my fans across the globe. In these difficult times, we hope to bring comfort, joy, and support through the power of music and emotions.
