Exceeding expectations
SPONSORED: Wavez by Danube Properties is new mixed-use development launch in Liwan – the first of its kind in that district.
The development is easily accessed from both Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Ain Road and consists of two ten-storey buildings called Wavez Residence and a shopping mall called Wavez Avenue on the premises itself.
Wavez Residence has a total of 412 apartments which includes 336 studios and 76 one-bedroom units. Unlike any of the other existing residential developments in Liwan, Wavez will feature a full raft of amenities including a swimming pool, health club and other recreational spaces.
The one thing that existing Liwan residents rued was the lack of basic supermarkets within the area. Wavez Avenue is a two-storey shopping mall that includes a full-fledged hypermarket, laundry service, flower shops a whole host of restaurants and coffee shops and will fea-ture high-street retails brands too. While Daunbe’s projects are concentrated in the UAE at the moment, it’s casting a wide net when pulling in inves-tors. They’ve got offices across the GCC, India and the Far East and conduct roadshows and digital marketing initia-tives in places as far-flung as Australia, Canada, Europe and Singapore.
Among its burgeoning customer and investor base, there is a palpable degree of trust that Danube Properties has garnered for itself. For example, the company said its share of the Dubai off-plan sales market rose to 10.6 per cent in 2018, compared to 5 per cent the previous year.
For Danube Properties to have scaled up this quickly. Atif Rahman, director and partner at Danube Properties. acknowledges the existence of an entire business eco-system in Dubai, including residency and trade reforms, that have stimulated the real estate sector in the emirate. “The kind of protection Dubai creates for investors, contractors and developers is phenomenal. It is one of the most efficiently regulated markets and has an amazing audit and monitoring system put into place. The infrastructure in the city is one of the best in the word too.”
With the Expo 2020 only a year away, he outlines the expo as a contributing factor for an even further uptick in Dubai’s real estate sector. “ I’ve seen the Milan Expo and the Shanghai Expo. The effect of an Expo is phenomenal. It will further boost the reputation of Dubai as one of the best destinations to visit, conduct business and live.”
If there’s a single guiding principle that he believes has been at the core of Danube Properties’ meteoric success, it is this: “Focus on what you deliver and when you deliver – that is my success mantra.”
