Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II was pictured last week deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah II at the inauguration of the Military Women’s Training Centre in Zarqa.
The third child of the King of Jordan and Queen Rania, 20-year-old Princess Salma was representing her father, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, on Monday.
In an Instagram post from the Royal Hashemite Court’s page, Princess Salma was seen saluting entering the event which is established in cooperation with NATO.
The caption reads, “Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the #Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II inaugurates the Military Women’s Training Centre in Zarqa, established in cooperation with NATO.”
In the post, Princess Salma is pictured within the nursery of the centre, which provides care for the children of the centre’s female personnel.
