The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, have welcomed a new member into their family – a new puppy.
Prince William and Kate Middleton announced the heartbreaking news last year that their family dog – a black cocker spaniel – of many years, Lupo, had passed away.
However, their new puppy, whose name is yet to be revealed, is from the same family as their late dog Lupo. The new pup was gifted to the Cambridges by Kate’s younger brother James Middleton, who breeds dogs.
The Cambridge family are reportedly “besotted” with their new dog.
“They were devastated when Lupo passed away, as any dog owner will understand, but got the new puppy before he died,” a source told
“The new puppy is adorable and the whole family is besotted.”
Given the UK is currently in a tier five lockdown, a new addition of a puppy in the family must be a welcomed distraction.
