6 Christmas markets for you to embrace this festive season in Dubai

There’s nothing like a little holiday spirit in the air with winter wonderland themed markets offering delicious Christmas delectables to help you enjoy this season with your loved ones.

As many of us might be away from home, has gathered a list of Christmas markets to visit in Dubai this year while offering a range of activities and food stalls to get you in the festive spirit.

Ripe Market

One of the most popular markets in the UAE offering fresh produce and delicious treats now has its own edition of the Christmas edition with free entrance ongoing every week up until December 26. The timings are from Fridays 9am to 7pm and Saturdays 10am to 7pm where there are activities such as decorating cookies, playing with Santa, buying trees and even small Christmas gifts.

Dubai Opera

Bringing all the Christmas vibes at the Dubai Opera this year, from December 4 to 14, this chic market will guarantee a place for all families to enjoy with traditional hot chocolates, candy making stations, meeting Santa Claus, today is your last day to visit.

Grand Hyatt

With an exclusive Christmas menu alongside a range of festive drinks offered, with gifts and decorations up until December 26, Grand Hyatt Dubai is transformed into a grand garden every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Habtoor Palace Dubai

As you pass by Sheikh Zayed road, you wouldn’t dare to miss the tall Christmas tree which is hosting one of the most festive markets in the emirate this year. With bouncy slides, train rides, carnival games and a snow fight zones, kids and families can embrace the festive spirit with a wide-ranging set of beautiful stalls every weekend from 7pm.

Madinat Jumeirah

If you wish to enjoy a traditional German experience with a tall LED Christmas tree, this is the perfect market place offering festive food and music with Santa Claus himself on an abra boat waiving out to all the guests visiting. The market also offers a journey on the North Pole mini-train for kids and a giant snowball zone for kids to enjoy every Friday and Saturday from December 13 to December 26.

Mall of the Emirates

If you’re looking for something a bit different at Mall of the Emirates, this festive themed shopping complex will have it’s own winter wonderland themed market courtesy of ripe market at Ski Dubai where children can meet Christmas themed characters and shop for trinkets and gifts to pep them up with over 19 holiday-themed stalls.
