After borders closed to tourists just under four months ago, it’s refreshing to be able to say that visitors in Dubai are officially welcome back.
As of today, July 7, borders are officially open to tourists. Where visitors may be from is another question, as with the relaunching of flights, there’s over 50 possible cities tourists could be flying in from.
Over the past couple of months, Emirates has slowly but surely been increasing its flight network and is now operating services to 51 destinations. Meanwhile, flydubai has also resumed some regular operations and is now running flights to 17 destinations.
At present, the majority of flights Emirates has available is to European destinations including the likes of London Heathrow, Milan, Dublin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris and Barcelona.
The Dubai-based airline is also offering flights to popular destinations in Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and North America including New York, Sydney, Beirut, Singapore, Lahore, Karachi and more.
As for flydubai some of the 17 destinations include Belgrade, Bucharest, Prague, Beirut, Kabul and more.
Wherever the new incoming tourists will be travelling from, they will undoubtedly be welcomed with open arms by Dubai as has been seen time and time again in videos released by Dubai Tourism.
However, when taking the leap to start your travels again, be aware there are many precautionary measures in place to uphold the health and safety of all travellers, UAE citizens and UAE residents when entering Dubai.
Similarly, before boarding your flight to Dubai ensure you have all the necessary documents needed for entering the country including a health declaration form and a negative COVID-19 test result prior to leaving your home country.
You can also opt for a PCR test once landing in Dubai, but be prepared to quarantine until you receive a negative test for COVID-19.
