One of the region’s young talents, Syrian singer Faia Younan is set to perform alongside John Legend in Dubai. The Grammy winning artist is set to bring his hits to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena this weekend.
Faia, who started her career on Youtube announced the exciting news on Instagram to her 1.1 million followers. She wrote: “Friends in Dubai and UAE. I cannot wait until we meet and sing together on the 31st of January with the great @johnlegend at the closing celebrations of Dubai shopping festival @dsfsocial in the Coca-cola Arena”
The 27-year-old moved from Sweden to Lebanon to focus on music, and now splits her time between the two countries. Her rise to fame comes courtesy of her viral Youtube hit . She followed up on the sucess by releasing her debut single which has since been followed by two studio albums.
This show marks John’s second performance in the UAE, and will bee part of the Dubai Shopping Festival’s closing celebrations. The star perviously headlined the 16th Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival in 2018, performing alongside singing star Ricky Martin and British pop band Duran Duran.
