Starbucks cancels this popular festive drink in the Middle East

We all know that this festive season is going to be a little different from the previous years, but we still rely on certain seasonal traditions to get us in the mood. One of them is a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks.

Whether you’re a fan or not, just seeing it advertised at the popular coffee destination is enough to make you mentally countdown to the holidays. However, this year there will be no pumpkin spice lattes in the Middle East as Starbucks has decided stock toffee nut instead.

Understandably, coffee lovers on social media needed a reason for the cancellation of their favourite autumn beverage and the brand responded on Facebook, saying:

“Unfortunately, PSL (pumpkin spice latte) won’t be available this year due to Business and Operations reasons. We encourage you to stay tuned on our channels for our upcoming drinks.”

Sold in more than 50 countries, the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte is one of the biggest sellers for the coffee chain and according to Forbes brings in about Dh367 million each season.

On the bright side, this is a great opportunity for you to discover a new seasonal drink. Keto Bowl makes a healthier version of a pumpkin spice latte by using pumpkin puree and coconut milk, but if you want to indulge then head to Black Tap for Thanksgiving to enjoy a pumpkin pie milkshake.
