‘We extend our support’
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has revealed details of a phone call he shared with Prince Charles earlier this week.
His Highness took to Twitter to share what he and his “dear friend” the Prince of Wales had discussed, amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
He detailed how the pair spoke of “developments” in the global pandemic, as well as “bilateral ties”.
Sheikh Mohamed also received an update on the prince’s health after he was diagnosed with coronavirus last month.
During a call with my dear friend Prince Charles, we spoke about COVID-19 developments & bilateral ties. I’m delighted to hear he’s now in good health & wish a fast recovery to those affected by the virus. We extend our support to the UK as we overcome this global crisis together

“I’m delighted to hear he’s now in good health and wish a fast recovery to those affected by the virus,” His Highness said. “We extend our support to the UK as we overcome this global crisis together.”
At the end of March it was announced Prince Charles, 71, had tested positive for coronavirus, but his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall tested negative.
Both of the British royal family members went into a seven day period of isolation, and now Prince Charles is said to be in good health, having recovered from the virus and has gone back to his royal duties, even remotely opening a new hospital in the UK via Zoom.
