Those in quarantine will also have access to a tele-doctor through an app. If there are any changes in medical statuses of passengers.

There are also strict guidelines for those quarantining at home which includes having their own room with a private bathroom and they must not be in the same household with anyone who falls into the high-risk category. Additionally, all those returning must update their symptoms on the designated COVID-19 app and must have an active UAE phone number.

In order for UAE residents to return to the country, they must have an entry permit. To apply, foreign nationals who hold a valid residency visa for the UAE should register for the ‘Residents’ Entry Permit’ on this website: smartservices.ica.gov.ae.
