Get these traditional Arabic sweets delivered to your door during Ramadan

With Ramadan expected to start on April 24,  many are preparing mentally to fast and physically for the delicious meals followed by the breaking of fast and this includes traditional Arabic sweets.

While the current coronavirus pandemic may stop you going out to get your favourite sweet treats, there’s no reason to worry as there’s plenty of shops offering delivery so you can get your sugar fix after breaking fast.

Al Baba Sweets

Having first opened in a small Lebanese town in 1950, Al Baba now boasts shops across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It’s famous for selling the most delicious Arabic sweets such as Konafa and Baklava in addition to preparing gift boxes. Delivery is currently available through Talabat.

Al Sultan Sweets

The Syrian shop is one of the most famous chains of Arab sweet shops. Stores are located in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. It is known for its delicious Konafa, in addition to other distinguished traditional sweets.

A local Arab sweets shop that’s very popular among UAE residents, located in Abu Dhabi only. There’s a variety of mouthwatering sweet treats on offer which is perfect for after breaking your fast during Holy Month.

Al Samadi Sweets

Al Samadi Sweets is one of the oldest Arabic sweet shops around, having first opened in Lebanon in 1872. It’s now been in the UAE for 30 years and stores can be found in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Delivery is currently available directly from stores if you call directly. Current trading hours are 10am to 8pm, but is subject to change. Charges of Dhs5 applies for all deliveries.
