The day my jacket collection comes out of storage each year is comparable to waking up on my birthday or Christmas morning. This morning, I stepped off the train and felt the cool, crisp city air hit me and thought, “damn, I wish I wore a jacket” and felt upset that I wasted even one day of fall jacket-wearing bliss.
Jackets are the solution to all of our problems. Have no idea what to wear? Choose a jacket and build the rest of your outfit around it. Just want to wear jeans and a T-shirt? Great, add a chic jacket on top and go fool the world into thinking you put effort into your outfit. Want to wear the shirt you had on last night that you got a pizza sauce stain on? Jacket, jacket, jacket.
