The record company fought me tooth and nail to leave that song off because the record had been taking too long.more on rock music”It was overdue, and they refused to give us any more time. They cut the budget off, but I decided to pay for the rest of the record myself.”I have a home studio, so whatever costs arose, I decided I’d pay for it.”They couldn’t stop me, so I continued working on the song, which took me another six months or so. I finished it, got it on the record, and then it was nominated for a GRAMMY. This includes Jay Darlington, who has been performing with Oasis for the past decade.
