Paris Hilton offers support ahead of memoir release
Paris Hilton has expressed her support for Britney’s upcoming memoir release.
She said to PEOPLE: “I know how hard it can be doing a memoir because you have to really dive in and think about so many moments in your life that I’m sure you don’t even want to think about.”
The star added: “I am just proud of what a strong woman she is.”
    Britney’s 13-year conservatorship
Britney was placed in a conservatorship – usually only used for the elderly or severely mentally ill – for thirteen years after her infamous breakdown in 2007 and 2008 in which she shaved her head.
Her father had full legal control of her life during that time.
Britney was eventually released from the Conservatorship in November 2021.

”When I am singing I am myself’
In extracts of the memoir seen by The Sun, Britney writes: “When I sing I am myself. To me singing is a magical place where the noise no longer has any meaning, where everything is possible.
“All I wanted was to leave the everyday world and enter this other realm where I could express myself without having to think.
She continued: “When I was alone with my thoughts, my mind was filled with worries and fears. But the music put an end to all worries, gave me self-esteem.
“As long as I was singing, I was half outside the ordinary world.
“Singing was like a bridge between reality and fantasy, between the world in which I lived and the world in which I desperately wanted to live.”
Britney’s heartbreaking revelations about her father
In her book, Britney detailed her rocky relationship with her father: “Feeling like you’re never good enough is a soul-crushing state of being for a child.
“He’d drummed that message into me as a girl, and even after I’d accomplished so much, he was continuing to do that to me.
“I became a robot. But not just a robot — a sort of child-robot. I had been so infantilized that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself.”

Britney Spears’ memoir is set to be released on October 24.
You can buy The Woman In Me from Amazon, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, and Target.

It has been revealed in Britney’s memoir that she confesses to cheating on Justin.
She wrote of her fling with Wade Robson: “We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night.”
She went on to claim that she had been loyal to Justin for years “with that one exception”.
The pop star also claimed she confessed the fling to Justin, but they were able to move past it and stay together.
Previews focus on Britney and Justin’s relationship
Previews for Britney’s upcoming book have so far focused heavily on her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Justin.
The former couple dated from 1999 to 2002.
In addition to claiming she got an abortion, the pop icon alleges in The Woman in Me that Justin cheated on her.
The allegation came decades after he alleged that she cheated on him.

    ‘I have moved on’
After bombshell claims from Britney Spears’ memoir have been made public ahead of its release, the pop icon shared she isn’t happy with how it’s being regarded.
Britney admitted on social media: “I don’t like the headlines I am reading.
“That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!! I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!! Either way, that is the last of it and s**t happens !!!”
Book is ‘a nightmare’ for Justin Timberlake
After Britney’s bombshell abortion allegations surfaced, a source told The U.S. Sun: “Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together, even though his personality, career, lifestyle, and personal priorities are radically different now, 20 years later.
“This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos. The timing stings just as much as the revelation itself.
The insider continued: “Justin had a big fall planned with new music on deck, more work with his old friends in NSYNC, and of course, the next installment of the Trolls franchise, which has been a huge moneymaker for Justin over the last several years.”
    Britney’s shock abortion claims
Britney claimed to have become pregnant with Justin’s baby in the year 2000 when they were around 19 years old.
Following “heart-wrenching discussions,” the pair agreed she would get an abortion, she claimed.
Britney said the decision “haunted” her before she went on to have her sons, Sean Preston in 2005 and Jayden James in 2006, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. More
