Before the big day on the 12th of March, wedding festivities for Princess Iman of Jordan have already commenced at the palace.
Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan hosted a henna party for the bride-to-be at the palace, alongside Rajwa Al Saif, fiancé of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah.

The mother of the bride and Queen of Jordan shared a glimpse of the warm celebrations at the palace through Instagram, giving the loyal followers an insight into the royal wedding. “We took care of the bride and showered her with love, and with all the family, our joy was completed with the night of Henna. So much love in one room! With friends and family at Iman’s Henna party yesterday,” the Queen of Jordan expressed. For the henna party, Queen Rania Rajwa Al Saif wore traditional pink ensembles with complementing jewellery, keeping it minimal and chic for the pre-wedding event.
Going for an understated yet impactful look, the bride wore an all-white, intricately embroidered traditional full-length dress by Jordanian-Palestinian designer Reema Dahbour. Sharing her excitement on this collaboration, the designer commented,“It’s a moment of pride as a Jordanian fashion designer, I am deeply honored to see our piece on Princess Iman on such a special day. Congratulations to our royal family!”
Adding a hint of nostalgia to this special event through her sartorial elegance—Queen Rania added a white and gold Bruce Oldfield belt to Princess Iman’s elegant outfit. The belt owned by the Queen herself, was last seen at her own royal wedding with King Abdullah II in 1993.
Princess Iman bint Abdullah II is all set to tie the knot with Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on 12th of March, 2023.

Who is the future Queen of Jordan? Everything we know about Rajwa Al Saif

    Lifestyle

    by Olivia Morris

It’s been a joyous year for the Jordanian royal family with the announcement of two engagements.
Firstly, in July, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan, Princess Iman, announced her engagement to New York financier Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.
Then, just one month later, it was confirmed by the Royal Hashemite Court that Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was to wed Ms Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif of Saudi Arabia.
Both royals are set to wed in 2023, but in particular, eyes will be on Crown Prince Hussein and his bride-to-be as it marks the next chapter in Jordan’s royal succession.

While she is still set to become an “official” royal, Rajwa is already learning the ropes having undergone her first public engagement with Crown Prince Hussein and also learning from her future mother-in-law.
Thus, it begs the question: who actually is Rajwa Al Saif? After all, one day she will be the future queen of Jordan.
    Early life
Rajwa Al Saif was born in Riyadh on April 28, 1994 and is currently 28 years old.
The bride-to-be is the youngest of four children, including Faisal, Naif, Dana and Rajwa, born to parents Khalid bin Musaed Al Saif and Azza Al Sudairi.
The Al Saif family’s heritage dates back to the Subai tribe in the town of  Al-Attar in Sudair, Najd, Saudi Arabia, where ancestors are known to have been the sheikhs of the town.
    Education
Rajwa was born and raised in Saudi Arabia where she completed her secondary education.
She then moved to New York to attend university at the College of Architecture at Syracuse University. After completing her undergraduate degree, Rajwa went to Los Angeles to study where she gained a degree from the Fashion Insitute of Design and Merchandising.
    Career
While still in Los Angeles, Rajwa worked for an architecture firm, but other than that, little is known about her career.
    Engagement
It’s unknown how Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein met, but the joyous news of their engagement was announced on August 17, 2022.
A statement was issued by the Royal Hashemite Court alongside a series of photos from the couple’s engagement at Rajwa’s father’s home in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce the engagement of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to Ms. Rajwa Khaled bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, on Wednesday, 17 August 2022, in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah,” the statement read.
    Welcome to the family
Upon the announcement of the engagement, Queen Rania also shared a personal congratulations to her son and his bride-to-be following the announcement.

“I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa,” she said on Instagram, also sharing photos from the engagement.
Then, just a few weeks later, Rajwa was photographed next to Queen Rania in a sweet family photo to mark Her Majesty’s birthday.
    Style tips from Queen Rania

Since the announcemnet of her engagement to Crown Prince Hussein, it appears Rajwa has been taking some style tips from Queen Rania, even borrowing some pieces from her personal archives.
For their engagement ceremony, Rajwa wore an olive green dress, mustard shayla and white kaftan, embellished with gold flowers. The kaftan was sinched with a gold belt, which appears to be borrowed from Queen Rania, who was seen wearing the piece herself back in 2019 to mark Jordan’s Independence Day.
Rajwa also borrowed a pair of earrings from Queen Rania’s personal jewellery collection. In an official portrait with Crown Prince Hussein, Rajwa wore Her Majesty’s custom earrings by British jewellery designer Stephen Webster – the Magnipheasant Plumage Earstuds.

Queen Rania steps out to make a powerful speech in an equally powerful outfit

    Fashion

    by Olivia Morris

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan always delivers in the style stakes, but her latest look may prove she is the most stylish royal ever.
The wife of King Abdullah II stepped out in Lisbon, Portugal on Wednesday to deliver a keynote speech at the 2022 Web Summit.
Ensuring she looked en pointe, Queen Rania turned heads in an edgy ensemble wearing a cropped metallic tweed jacket by Alessandra Rich paired with Bottega Veneta trousers and a handbag.
But seriously a queen wearing a cropped jacket? Truly iconic.

    A powerful speech
Not only did Her Majesty step out in a powerful outfit, but she also had a powerful message to share at the summit where she delivered a speech about “Battling built-in biasses”.
Queen Rania’s speech touched on the problems of relying too much on technology.
“The real progress we need is not better machines but for all of us to be better humans,” she said, adding society had become “hooked” to their mobile phones and other technology devices.
She cited the Digital Global Overview Report from 2022 which outlined the average time spent online has increased by four minutes each day. This equates to one day per person, per year.

“I am concerned that we’re undervaluing the most precious currency of all — our time,” she added. “I am concerned that, even as virtual reality improves by the day, we’re neglecting the needs of our actual reality. And our mental health is suffering, too.”
Per the Jordan News Agency, Her Majesty also highlighted the world’s response to the Ukraine refugee crisis showcasing what can be achieved through joint efforts, but she also spotlighted the “difference in generosity, tone, and urgency” for refugees from countries including Syria, South Sudan and Myanmar. that extended to refugees from countries such as Syria, South Sudan, and Myanmar.
“It’s hard not to wonder if skin colour and religion affect the global community’s humanitarian instincts and whether the impulse is to lend a helping hand or look away,” she questioned. “Addressing that prejudice isn’t an algorithm’s job. It’s up to us.”

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II ahead of her funeral.
The wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is currently in London, sat down with ITV News to discuss the life and legacy of the late British monarch.
Queen Rania, who met the Queen on several official engagements throughout the years, described the passing of Her Majesty as “the end of an era” adding that she wasn’t just the Queen of the UK, she was the “Queen of the world”.

“To me, she is the Queen of the world,” she told the UK-based news outlet. “She may be the Queen of England but I think symbolically she is the Queen to all of us.”
Reflecting on her time with Her Majesty, Queen Rania explained that each time she met the British monarch she would become “warmer and warmer”.
“I just have the most wonderful memories of her,” she revealed. “Throughout the years, every time I met her, I felt she was warmer and warmer.”
Speaking from a place of admiration for Queen Elizabeth II, the Jordanian Queen said Her Majesty was a guide to her and was a figure she always looked up to, particularly as she navigated her way through her own royal life after marrying King Abdullah II in 1993.
