      Her decision to take a break comes after she was filmed engrossed in conversation with Taylor Swift and Miles Teller’s wife Keleigh Sperry at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
      It is rumoured Selena was talking about Kylie and her boyfriend, actor Timothee Chalamet, who made their first official appearance together at the glitzy awards bash.
      There was no audio to the video but fans are convinced Selena was telling Taylor she had asked for a photo with the Wonka star, but that Kylie had refused.
      Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Selena shared a video of her boyfriend Benny Blanco larking around with two unnamed children.

      She captioned the clip: “I’m off social media for a while. I’m focusing on what really matters.”
      Selena found herself at the centre of headlines following Sunday night’s Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, California.
      Wearing a stunning red gown with black flower embellishments, the former Disney star was filmed leaning across Taylor and Keleigh for an animated and juicy chat.
      Both Taylor, 34, and Keleigh, 31 seemed shocked by whatever the Only Murders In The Building star was saying.

      It hasn’t been confirmed exactly what was spilled, but Keleigh could be heard loudly asking, “With Timothee?” to which Selena then nodded.
      Timothee, 28, and Kylie, 26, were sitting at another table inside the bash at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
      One fan reposted two angles of the same video on X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their opinion on what they thought Selena had said to her pals.
      They claimed she’d revealed: “I asked for a picture with him and she (Kylie Jenner) said no.”
      But breaking her silence on the incident, Selena – who was nominated for a Golden Globe – has since rubbished the suggestion.
      Writing on Instagram before deciding to quit, she said: “Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone business.”
      Kylie, who found fame as a child in Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is thought to have been dating Timothee since April.
      They have kept tight-lipped about their romance and their Golden Globes appearance was their first official red carpet together.
      Selena, meanwhile, appeared alongside the American-French actor in the 2019 film A Rainy Day In New York.

      Kylie, 26, left fans floored this week after they found unedited photos of the star while attending the Golden Globes on Sunday.
      The reality star showed off her slim figure in a skintight black gown with lace detail and a plunging back.
      She wore her hair tied in an updo and full glam makeup for her red carpet appearance.
      But after Kylie was photographed inside the event, critics claimed her face looked substantially different than in her edited social snaps.

      Many accused the mother of two of regularly photoshopping her features to look smaller, as in person they appeared to look more disproportionate.
      “She’s looking roughhhh,” one wrote, opening up the conversation on Reddit.
      “Yes, this makeup was so much better than her usual slathered on look – but it just bought home how terribly she has aged and botched her face. She looks like a caricature of herself, the kind they draw on boardwalks!” a second agreed.

      Many followers thought her face had a sunken appearance.
      A user uploaded unedited pictures of Kylie to a popular Kardashians Reddit thread and encouraged users to comment.
      They titled the discussion, “Kylie at the Golden Globes. Looking 40 as usual.”
      “Why does her face look painful? Oof,” one wrote.
      “Her cheeks are too heavy for her face and sag so much,” a third commented.
      “How sad to be a botched leather faced looking lady before you’re even 27,” a fourth added.

      During his opening monologue, the host mentioned The Crown – but quickly turned his attention to Meghan and Harry, who were not in attendance.
      He said: “How great was Imelda Staunton in The Crown, wasn’t she amazing?
      “Her portrayal of the Queen was so good Prince Harry called her and asked her for money.”
      As the crowd laughed headded: “Like I said, I didn’t write all of these! That one wasn’t mine!

      But he doubled down, adding: “Prince Harry and Meghan will still be paid millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing – and that’s just by Netflix!”
      It comes after the Sussexes were told to come up with more shows for Netflix if they want to be paid £40million in outstanding fees.
