LOVE can be painful – sometimes very literally.
Nearly half of Brits have injured themselves while getting frisky and some of them even end up in A&E, according to a new report.
A poll found that four per cent of those getting down and dirty had even managed to knock themselves out during the process.
If you think that sounds a bit of a stretch, look no further than the world of celeb, where stars have been all too frank about their bedroom mishaps over the years.
Here, we salute the brave famous faces who have revealed their most embarrassing stories.
Snapped willy
Love Island hunk Brad McClelland might be good at getting lucky with the ladies, but he’s not always the smoothest in bed.

The 26-year-old builder shared during series seven that he had injured his penis.
During one of the saucy games, he quipped: “I’ve snapped my banjo”.
He confessed: “One thrust of the hips, and it was like, ‘ooh, what has happened?’.”
The story led to several of the other Islanders being disgusted and some claiming they were going to be sick.

Bed breaker
Loose Women star Linda Robson might have been married to her husband for three decades, but their passion is still burning hot.
In fact, the TV host revealed that they still have bed-breakingly good sex.
The 63-year-old said: “So last night, we were on our own so we, you know, did the deed or whatever.
“We broke two of the bed slats! The bed collapsed… It was my fat bottom I think.”
It’s not the first time the couple have been left red-faced either, as they were interrupted by their daughter when she was two years old.
Linda said: “Me and Mark were in the middle doing what you do… in the middle of the act when all of a sudden he stops.
“And I’m like ‘What’s the matter. Why has he stopped?’ and all of a sudden Lauren’s face appeared over the top of his shoulder.”
Strain after 10 romps a week
Former Tottenham Hotspurs player Kevin-Prince Boateng, 36, was left struggling on the pitch after constantly injuring his thigh.
It coincided with him starting to date Melissa Satta, 38, who later claimed she was the cause of his strain.
She told Gazzetta dello Sport: “The reason why he is always injured is because we have sex seven to ten times a week.
“I’m afraid that’s the reason for the strain.”
The loved-up pair went on to get married in 2016, but sadly divorced four years later.
Mystery mishap
Playing Never Have I Ever live on radio is a dangerous game, and for Rochelle it led to a saucy confession.
The TV presenter, 34, revealed that she had to visit A&E after a mishap with her husband Marvin, 38, during their private time.
On the topic of: Never have I ever sustained an injury during special cuddles, The Saturdays singer Rochelle replied: “I have!”
But she didn’t share what had caused the couple to make a prompt visit to the hospital.
Former bandmate Mollie King did reveal that Rochelle rang her about it for advice on what to do.
‘Blood all over’
Big Brother star Dennis Rodman has broken his penis an eye-watering three times during sex – with one lover even thinking she had killed him because of the sheer amount of blood.
Speaking in very graphic detail to Vice, the former basketball player revealed: “There was blood all over her and she was screaming and screaming ‘Oh my god he’s dead he’s dead, I killed him oh my God’.
“I said ‘no hunny I broke my d***’.”
The star described his penis as looking like a ‘f***ed up carrot’ after the second break.
Queasy does it
The Loose Women panellist, 77, shared that she had ended up feeling extremely queasy during one bout of sex.
On the ITV show, Janet said: “I have had a sex related injury. An awfully long time ago.
“We bought a waterbed. I had a few drinks to get in the mood and jumped on the bed.
“We were going at it, and then you can’t stop. I thought I was going to be sick.
“I had to jump off the waves and go to the loo, where I hit my head and was sick in the toilet.”
Injury time
Former Manchester City defender Micah, 35, claims he lied about an injury he picked up whilst getting laid.
He made the confession about the bedroom accident to Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker.
Micah said: “Basically, obviously, I can’t go into detail. Basically, I was yes, I was ‘having fun’ and as I was ‘having fun’, I slipped off the bed and stretched my leg and did my hamstring.
“So I’ve rolled over, but I was totally fine in training. So when I go back to training and the physio’s have asked me what have I done and I just said ‘I’ve just got some pain down my back, I felt it in the game but I didn’t really want to say anything’. They don’t know the truth until now.”
Broke two ribs
Actress Leslie Ash, 64, is used to filming romance in front of the camera, but in real life it’s not always smooth sailing.
In 2004 she shared that she’s had a few accidents while romping with husband Lee Chapman.
One of which included accidentally breaking two ribs whilst having sex.
She said: “We were making love and this happens. How embarrassing is that?”
She added: The injuries happened when I hit a bedside table.”

Devastatingly, the hospital trip led to her catching a deadly strain of MRSA which was expected to prevent her ever walking again.
Thankfully, she is now able to walk.
