    Amy Anzel – Season 16’s fired candidate Amy Anzel was BANNED from the final celebration show, after a tit-for-tat exchange over Lord Sugar’s mocking tweets.
    Michelle Dewberry – Telecoms consultant Michelle Dewberry won the second series of the show in 2006. However, after winning a six-figure job with Lord Sugar she lasted just four months before she sensationally quit.
    Selena Waterman-Smith – We’re used to tensions running high in the boardroom, but in 2015 a disagreement between two candidates spilled over – for the first time – into a physical bust-up.       VIEWERS of The Apprentice viewers have slammed part of the ‘fake’ format. Lord Alan Sugar’s assistant or secretary calls the house phone which is answered by one bleary eyed contestant. On The Apprentice, the aspiring moguls are usually told they have only a short amount of time to get ready before the cars arrive to take the contestants to the task. In tonight’s instalment, the narrator said the secretary called at 4am as they were told they had 20 minutes to get ready to head off to Battersea Power Station.       Apprentice fans left cringing as team make huge blunder in negotiation task

      THE Apprentice fans were left cringing after one of the teams made a huge blunder during the negotiation task tonight.This evening’s instalment of the BBC show saw the contestants travel to Jersey and were tasked with getting a list of nine items at the lowest price possible.

      Some of the items included jersey wonders, a stainless steel shackle and a hand blown sea salt glass jar.
      One thing that confused them a bit was when they were asked to get a dozen freshly shucked oysters.
      Project manager Jack Davies asked Sam Saadet to negotiate with a fisherman called Sean, while Virdi Singh Mazaria and Maura Rath looked on.
      He told her that he wanted 75 per cent less than the initial asking price.

      Sean told her that it was £30 for 12 oysters, so she asked if he would lower the price to £15, and he said no.
      They managed to agree on £24.50.
      However those watching at home pointed out that she didn’t ask them to be shucked.
      One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Did she ask for them shucked? #TheApprentice.”

      One said: “Both teams deserved zero investment, the games were awful.”
      Another said: “These cant be real investments, its all made up.”

      However, two years later Sugar sacked Venables and later won a legal battle against him when the former footballer appealed to the high courts.
      The move was unpopular among fans, who felt he was treating the club as a business rather than a passion project.
      In 2001, he sold the majority stake of his shares for an estimated £22million, before selling the rest six years later for £25million.
      Sugar branded his sixteen-year investment in the club as a “waste of his life”.

      Alan is married to Ann Simons, who was a hairdresser when she met her husband in the 60s.

      Paul started his career at Canadian Soccer League club Toronto Blizzard before joining Birmingham City in 1992, where he became top goalscorer in each of his two seasons with the club.
      Throughout his career, Paul spent 16 seasons in England and played for nine different clubs, including Fulham, Norwich City and Derby County.
      He also made over 50 appearances for his native Canada’s international side.

      After he retired, Paul became manager of Burton Albion in 2009, where he later admitted he turned down the chance to sign former England striker Jamie Vardy.
      Peschisolido was even inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame in 2013.

      The two met in 1993 after Karren became managing director of Birmingham City while Paul was still playing for the club.

      Speaking of his wife’s success in January 2011, Paul said: “The top business people in this country are desperate for her to join their boards.
      “Look what she did for Birmingham. They bought it for a quid and sold it for £80million. And West Ham for £20million?
      “She’s a genius when it comes to business.”
      They have two children together, Sophia and Paolo.
      Paul’s daughter Sophia has also forged a career for herself as a successful fashion model.
