The Apprentice viewers slam ‘fake’ format as they spot ‘clue’ it’s staged

VIEWERS of The Apprentice viewers have slammed part of the ‘fake’ format.

Every episode see’s Lord Sugar fire one candidate as they take on new entrepreneurship based tasks in an attempt to win a £250,000 investment.

Most of the BBC episodes start inside luxury house that the candidates live throughout the process.

Lord Alan Sugar‘s assistant or secretary calls the house phone which is answered by one bleary eyed contestant.

On The Apprentice, the aspiring moguls are usually told they have only a short amount of time to get ready before the cars arrive to take the contestants to the task.

In tonight’s instalment, the narrator said the secretary called at 4am as they were told they had 20 minutes to get ready to head off to Battersea Power Station.

However, some viewers are sceptical of this detail, as they think the contestants look far too glamorous after such a short amount of time.

One viewer commented: “#TheApprentice There’s no way they all can get ready and all dolled up within twenty minutes.”

A second sarcastically referred to themselves in a similar situation as they wrote: “20 minutes I’m still on the s******r. 😂😂#TheApprentice #TheApprentice.”

“No way not having that! How these women shower, dress, makeup and hair in 20 minutes,oh come on!😀 #TheApprentice,” noted a third.

Other eagle-eyed viewers have even spotted that the narrative on the show does not make sense on a continuity purpose.

They noted that the house call comes in the earliest hours and they only have the tiniest amount time to get ready in the dark.

Yet, when the contestants depart the luxury abode, the sun is firmly shining, when in reality they should be departing for the task in darkness.

One viewer noted: “So @Lord_Sugar secretary calls the house at 4am..20 mins for those boys, let alone the girls to get ready & yet it’s daylight in the cars.. 🙄 #TheApprentice.”

Another commented: “Just caught a glimpse of #TheApprentice and one the guys gets a phone call at 4AM and it’s still dark to say the cars will be outside in 20 minutes, 20 minutes later there walking out and it’s broad daylight, someone’s got timing well out of sync!😂.”

“04:20 call to go to Battersea Power Station. They have 20 minutes to get ready. They leave in full daylight. Really @Lord_Sugar? 😂,” asked a third fan.

And a fourth watcher wrote: “Why after all these years does #TheApprentice still peddle the lie that they get called at 4:30am and have to be ready for the cars in 20 minutes?”

They added: “It’s broad bloody daylight when they leave and the women all have bouncy blow dries 🤦🏻‍♀️ #ylietho.”

Whilst a fifth claimed: “@bbcapprentice phone rings at 4am…pitch black. Cars there in 20 minutes. Candidates leave in broad daylight! Not one apprentice left could get ready in 20 minutes.”
