‘She hasn’t aged in 20 years!’ say fans as nineties movie star, 49, makes US chat show appearance

AN AMERICAN actress hasn’t aged in two decades according to die-hard chat show fans gushing over her ever-youthful appearance.

Viewers of Sherri Shepherd’s programme saw her enjoy a natter with her best pal about her “nerdy hobbies” – yet fans were more preoccupied with her fresh-faced look.

One fan said the star is ‘ageing gracefully’

Tamala Jones, 49, is best-known for roles in films including Booty Call, The Brothers and What Men Want.

She also has strong form on the small screen, playing Tina on Veronica’s Closet and Bobbie Seawright on For Your Love.

Back in 2021, she starred in ABC series Rebel with veteran actress Katey Sagal in the title role.

It came after she played Lanie Parish, a medical examiner with a sarcastic sense of humour in the hit ABC crime series Castle.

Yet during her appearance on pal Sherri’s show, fans were quick to brand her “gorgeous.”

They noted her appearance hasn’t changed from her move heyday to now, aged 49.

Talking of the California native, one wrote on YouTube: “She is and always has been gorgeous.”

A second put: “Tamela Jones is so beautiful she’s obviously intelligent. She’s aging gracefully. Her outfit is lovely.”

A third then added: “90s and early 2000s are irreplaceable. She was in everything and loved her!!,” as another wrote: “Tamela looks just as good as she did when she was in the movie The Wood! That was over 20 years ago.”

One then surmised: “She has always been gorgeous! She has not aged a day!”

On the chat show, Tamala donned a lilac shirt with matching printed trousers.

She left her raven locks in loose waves tied in a half-up style and accessorised with purple earrings and a silver chain.

The pair starred together in movie Who’s Your Caddy and Sherri quizzed her pal: “What kind of nerd were you?”

Tamala replied and said: “Listen I am still a nerd, I am very much an introvert unless I’m going to work or on vacation.

“I like science, I am very much into science.

“I am a gamer … I love playing mortal combat.

“I do things nobody thinks I would do.”

Health scare

Tamala has also carved out a career starring in music videos.

She can be seen in En Vogue’s video for Give It Up, Turn It Loose as well as Jay Z’s Girls, Girls, Girls.

Yet Tamala has previously talked of getting her career back on track after suffering a life-changing brain aneurysm.

She told that, while born with the condition, she only noticed it 26 years ago when she had a headache for “two weeks straight.”

It sparked limited mobility on the right side of her body as well as issues with her balance.

She took a break from filming sitcom For Your Love when the true extent of her medical issue came to light.

Tamala recalled the incident and told the Tamron Hall show: “I got to the hospital, and the doctor was like, ‘I am in awe that you’re alive.

“Let alone work a whole day.”

She added: “I feel great. I’m alive.
