‘How do you keep getting younger?’ ask fans and celebs as 90s movie star, 52, strips off to swimwear

ICONIC nineties and noughties actress Sanaa Lathan left fans stunned after posting a series of flawless snaps from her recent lavish Los Cabos holiday.

The Love & Basketball star, 52, had been on holiday in the Mexican hot-stop Los Cabos last week with friends, including fellow actress and The Best Man alum, Regina Hall, 53.

Sanaa took jaw-dropping snaps in her fabulous swimwear as she posed in front of the luxurious 5-star resort, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, to help celebrate her friend, actress Elisa Perry’s birthday last week.

Celebrity friend Nicole Scherzinger commented under the gorgeous Instagram snaps on social media: “Who are you and how do you get younger and body for days!”

Best friend and holiday buddy Regina echoed a similar sentiment, leaving one word: “GORGEOUS”, under the incredible swimwear pictures.

When asked by back in 2011, how the Out Of Time actress maintains her ageless beauty, the acting phenom told JET magazine: “I jump on a mini trampoline everyday. It’s my favourite form of exercise.”

In 2021, the actress who has seemingly found the elixir of youth, told Glamour Magazine: “I like organic canola oil, I buy it online. It’s $13.99 (£11).

SANAA’S CAREER

Sanaa’s career took off in 1998, when she appeared alongside actor Wesley Snipes, 61, in superhero film Blade.

Her debut film would be a commercial success, with Blade grossing an astounding £105 million worldwide sales.

The star would follow this success with role as a part of an ensemble cast in 1999 American comedy-drama film The Best Man, starring actor Taye Diggs, 53, friend Regina Hall and actress Nia Long, 53.

Romantic sports-drama film Love & Basketball would be released in 2000, where the actress starred alongside 90s heartthrob Omar Epps, 50.

The classic film further helped to cement Sanaa as a pop cultural front-runner, as since its release, it’s amassed a cult-following on social media.

Last year, the Gina Prince-Bythewood, 54, written film, was selected in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for it being “culturally, historically and aesthetically significant.”

The New York City-born actress would spend the noughties as a lead actress is a string of romantic- drama and comedy flicks such as 2000s Disappearing Acts and 2002’s classic film Brown Sugar.

The following year, Sanaa displayed her acting chops alongside Academy-award winning actor Denzel Washington, 69, in crime-drama film Out Of Time.

In 2004, the daughter of actress Eleanor McCoy, 75, and prolific film director Stan Lathan, 78, starred in box office smash Alien vs. Predator. That same year, ventured into the world of theatre.

She gained a prestigious Tony Awards nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play, for the Broadway revival of the influential Lorraine Hansberry play A Raisin in the Sun.

In 2010, The Family That Preys actress returned to her theatre work starring in the all-black performance of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Novello Theatre in London.

She would reprise her role as Robyn in The Best Man, with a Christmas edition of the hit film, for 2013’s The Best Man Holiday.

RECENT SUCCESS AND FUTURE PLANS

In 2015, the Alien Vs Predator actress starred alongside 2 Fast 2 Furious actor Michael Ealy, 50, and The Best Man franchise alum, Morris Chestnut, in romantic-drama thriller The Perfect Guy.

The film would be another box office smash for Sanaa, grossing £48 million pounds worldwide.

In recent years, the The Perfect Guy actress has expanded her acting territory to streaming services, acting in a riveting role as Violet Jones, in Netflix’s 2018 rom-com Nappily Ever After.

In 2022, Sanaa received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, for her role as Jeremy Strong’s troubled media heir, Kendall Roy on Emmy-winning series Succession.

In December that same year, Sanaa reprised her role as Robyn Stewart in The Best Man, for Peacock streaming service, 8-part series The Best Man: The Final Chapters.

Last month the BBC announced that it had acquired a host of shows, including The Best Man: The Final Chapters from NBC Universal Television.

The brilliant news means UK fans of the franchise will be able to watch the series. The airing date has yet to be announced.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm star who is currently single took a social media break last year, and posts beautiful pictures of her attending red carpet events and spending time with her famous mother.
