Aerial photos show the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood adorned with sprawling homes, bright green trees, and sparkling blue pools.

The giant tree in the center of the image belongs to the star whose home is to the right.

Pine, 43, allegedly planted about a dozen ficus trees at the border of his Los Angeles home and due to their chaotic roots, they have started to grow into Yu’s property, according to court documents seen by The U.S. Sun, first obtained by TMZ.

She claims that the trees have uprooted the concrete around her home and have begun to creep into the foundation of her home.

The pair have been in a legal battle about the issue before, according to the docs.

Yu sued the actor in 2022 and they entered mediation to resolve things privately.

However, the problem has only grown bigger.

Yu claimed Chris was willing to settle the matter privately until he allegedly claimed that her fence was on his side of the property line.

The attorney originally wanted a $267,000 settlement and claimed she was open to giving the actor $75,000 for his own grievances, but it was turned down.

Yu has now upped her asking to over $500,000.

The total includes $346,000 to cover the costs of damages and $225,000 for emotional distress, resulting in over $571, 000 to settle this dispute.

Facts about ficus trees

Ficus trees are a very popular plant for landscaping. Many people enjoy the shade and privacy its leaves provide.

While its leaves are simple and waxy, and sometimes the trees produce small flowers, ficus’ are known for their powerful roots.

The roots of a ficus tree are so strong, while they grow, they can split stone or strangle another tree, according to the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Explorers.

They can spread as far as 20+ feet from the tree trunk, according to The Green Scene.

Their aggressive nature makes them difficult to have near pools, patios, or other hardscapes.

The fruit, figs, come from the ficus carica species of the tree.

He also sported tight blue corduroy shorts and ankle-high white socks with a red stripe.

The actor completed the look with brown hiking boots with red laces, orange sunglasses, and a shaggy blonde hairdo.

Poolman follows follows Darren whose quest to improve his hometown of Los Angeles irritates city councilman Steven Tornkowsky.
