TOM Daley’s husband “aggressively” twisted a woman’s wrist as she partied with her Love Island ex Amber Gill, a court heard today.
Dustin Lance Black, 49, allegedly left Teddy Edwardes, who is a host of BBC3 show The Big Proud Party Agency, feeling “uncomfortable” during the exchange.
Black, who has two kids with Olympic diver Daley, 29, is accused of twisting Edwardes wrist “very hard” – causing her to spill her drink.
The BBC presenter then punched him in the back of the head, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
She was later cautioned for hitting Black during the row, it was said.
Olympic diver Tom, who is supporting his husband in court, had allegedly attempted to calm the screenwriter down during the row.

The court was told Edwardes had been at the Freedom nightclub in London’s Soho with her ex-girlfriend, Love Island star Amber.
She bumped into Tom and the group spent the rest of the night in a booth together.
Edwardes told the court Black “didn’t seem to be very happy with me. Not very friendly”.
The row allegedly unfolded when she asked security to remove another man from the area.

Edwardes added: “Lance stood up up and everything started. He shouted at me, saying that I made him feel uncomfortable since I got there. He felt humiliated.
“I said I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you feel like that. He was very angry. He was shouting. I was really quite shocked.
“We were standing by reception opposite our booth. He’s still shouting in my face.
“Tom was trying to calm him down in his face. He was asking him to stop.
“Everyone was trying to get everyone to calm down.
“Lance grabbed my left wrist. I had a drink in my hand. He grabbed my wrist and twisted it round so my drink would go all over. He was inches from me.
“It was very hard and really aggressive.”
Edwardes also told the court she no longer feels “comfortable going to gay bars”, which she called her “safe space”.
Black, who won an Oscar for his 2008 film Milk, denies a count of assault by beating following the alleged altercation on August 18 last year.
A spokesperson said previously: “Mr. Black was surprised and saddened to learn that the case had reached court and has today pleaded not guilty.
“Of course Mr. Black will respect the process, and in the meantime will continue to focus on being a loving father and husband.”
