FAT Joe has led the tributes to Terror Squad rapper Raul Conde who died this week at 52 after suffering a heart attack.
Love & Hip-Hop: New York’s Erica Mena, who shares a son with Conde, said they were left with a “broken heart” as she honored the rap star.
“My Son officially has a broken heart. LIFE IS SO SHORT. PLEASE LOVE YOUR PEOPLE.”
He started dating the reality star in 2000, sparking almost a decade-long relationship between the two.
In 2007, they had a son King Javien Conde, when Mena was 19 at the time.
In 2010, things took a dark turn after Mena was caught on video attacking Conde.
Mena would later claim that Conde had been physically abusive to her during the relationship, at a 2013 rally to raise awareness for domestic abuse.
The following year, the two would resolve their differences, with Mena posing with a sweet family photo at a Miami Heat game, with the caption, “The war is over.”
The rapper was based in Miami at the time of his death and was an ordained minister.
He is best known for his time in the Terror Squad, including his hand in directing the major hit, Lean Back.

Outside of his musical pursuits, he also played a major part in the tequila brand that was pushed by Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Scott Disick.
Conde, 52, died on Tuesday, after suffering from a heart attack.
‘MY DAY 1’
Fat Joe, who was part of the Terror Squad with the rapper, also shared his love for the star, as well as condolences after hearing the news.
“My Day 1 how can a man love another man more than your own biological family. You are 1 of 1 the most loyal EVER. We did it since kids we did everything we dreamed of i love you with every fiber in my body,” Joe wrote.
The Lean Back rapper posted multiple pictures of him and his longtime friend.
“I thought we’d get old together and look back at the times we had and laugh. No one understood me like you, you were God sent my brother I wish I could get one last talk with you.”
“My Condolences to the CONDE FAMILY ty for letting us have RAUL for all these years I can tell you not a moment in my life I won’t love and cherish every minute every second I’ve had with RAUL,” the rapper added.
Conde joined the rap group in 1998, sparking the two rappers’ long friendship.
In 1998, the All The Way Up rapper credited Conde with saving his life after the Terror Squad had been approached by a local man after their concert in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
“When I go to walk [out], I open the door, this dude is standing in the trunk of a car — this is no exaggeration — pulling out the silver gun, All of a sudden, I see Raul TS. Now, Raul got a .22 Derringer, probably the same s**t he had at Morris High School,” Joe said during an Instagram Live session.
The pair’s friend Joey Crack, who was also there during the scary encounter, chimed in.
“So he tells me to stand behind him and all eight of us are in line with Raul’s .22. We wound up car-jacking two dudes, grabbed them out, boom, jumped in the whip … We get the f**k outta there,” Crack said.
DJ Khaled, who was also close with Conde, posted a kind message to his friend.
“Love you my brother @raul.ts you are very rare you the definition of a true brother friend . U always wanted to see everyone win. RAUL I LOVE YOU, BROTHER! GOD BLESS. WE GOING MISS U, @raul.ts the legendary RAUL! Love forever!,” the social media star wrote on Instagram.
