MATT LUCAS is hoping to swap sugary cakes for sweet dates by signing back up to Tinder.
We have learned the former Great British Bake Off host, who quit the show in December 2022, is using the dating app.
Matt has swerved celebrity match-making service Raya – where many stars head to find someone special – as he prefers to meet guys with regular jobs and lifestyles.
But it seems that Matt, who married in 2006 but split two years later, isn’t sure whether he actually wants a long-term partner when he’s swiping.
On his profile, which has been verified, Arsenal fan Matt says he is “still figuring out” what he is looking for.
His page also has The Lion Sleeps Tonight by Tight Fit as his “anthem”, as well as featuring a list of his interests including West End musicals, comedy, music and football.

It also features a picture of Matt holding a cake with the word “Chocolit” and a picture of his famous Little Britain character Marjorie Dawes on it.
When Matt first started using Tinder in 2015 he said: “I love it.
“It’s like a game, left, right, left, right.
“And then sometimes I go ‘Hello,’ and they go, ‘You’re not Matt Lucas’.

Let’s hope Matt has the recipe for dating success as he looks for love this time around.
Xtina’s Sin the groove in Vegas
CHRISTINA Aguilera lived up to her Dirrty reputation with her most provocative shows in years as she kicked off her Las Vegas residency.
The Genie In A Bottle singer is following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue at Voltaire in The Venetian Hotel and she put the sin in Sin City with powerhouse vocals, a performance on a bed, not so subtle X-rated jokes and a number of stunning costume changes throughout her 80-minute set.
Strutting around in SEVEN sultry looks, Xtina purred: “I can be a very impatient woman, when I like something done I like it done right away. Am I right, ladies? But sometimes there are some things I don’t like to rush . . . and that will be in the bedroom. Now pour me a nice big stiff one. Good baby, yes. Who has a nice big stiff one tonight?”
The stage transformed into “Xtina’s Wedding Chapel”, where she playfully pretended to help a couple tie the knot.
She said with a wink: “What would Vegas be without a proper showgirl Las Vegas wedding . . . and remember, happy wife, happy life.”
Show creator and producer Michael Gruber said: “This is the best show she has ever done.”
Some recent tours have struggled to hit the mark, but if opening night is anything to go by then Christina is back to her best.
Dua loved Indian getaway
DUA LIPA entered 2024 on a high while holidaying in India.
She posted several snaps from her trip on Instagram, including these three.
The singer wrote: “I feel so beyond lucky to end my year here in India.
“Thank you to all the wonderful people here who have shown us so much love, kindness, hospitality and generosity.
“I feel lucky to be in and within the magic with my family where we’ve had the time to explore, regroup, recharge and restart.
“Ready for the year ahead. What a joy.”
With her third album due soon, it’s good she’s enjoying herself while she can.
Ed’s Thor-fire hit
THOR blimey, Ed Sheeran did well to get his hands on Chris Hemsworth’s hammer.
The superstar shared this snap on Instagram in a round-up of photos from 2023.
He stood toe to toe with the Aussie acting heart-throb and the hammer he wields as Norse god Thor in the Marvel movies.
Not sure why, but they were waving it around in what appeared to be a kitchen.
It would certainly make a short job of getting your steaks nice and tender.
Names to look out for in ’24
IT is always tough predicting which acts will make it big in the year ahead but we’ve got are some belters to look out for in 2024.
After scoring a huge viral hit in recent weeks with Water, Tyla is a real contender to become the world’s next superstar.
The South African singer is only 21 but has all the makings of a young Rihanna, with lots more new music on the way.
Outspoken Brit Caity Baser has also been putting in the groundwork in 2023 and will continue to rise with her brash and gobby brand of pop.
Home-grown indie girl group The Last Dinner Party have already been named the Rising Star before March’s Brit Awards and are sure to become a regular on the radio.
Kenya Grace topped the charts with Strangers in October and she is due to release an EP of her lo-fi dance music in the coming months.
Fellow Brit Fred Roberts has been building up a fanbase and released a belting single in Say.
Finally, Ayra Starr has become more and more popular following her collaboration My Love, with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, now it looks like 2024 could be her year to have her own monster hit.
Foo Dave is Maisie highlight
MAISIE Peters has revealed her 2023 highlight was when she was surprised by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl backstage at Glastonbury.
She performed on the Pyramid Stage at the festival last June and was then shocked to discover rock veteran Dave had been in the crowd.
During an exclusive chat, Maisie told us: “It was so fun.
“My main memory is that, number one, Dave Grohl was there.
“He watched and we met him afterwards and he was the king of my heart.
“And number two, I was really out of breath the whole time because I was unfit.
“So next time I’ll try to be a bit more fit.
