Yasmine Sabri’s surprise wedding to Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima

Egyptian star Yasmine Sabri has married Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima in a surprise wedding.

Sharing two photos of the couple during their Katb El-Kitab ceremony, which is the traditional Islamic part of the wedding, with her 9.8 million Instagram followers, the actress confirmed the pair had wed on April 17, 2020.

The bride looked gorgeous wearing a midi-length white Givenchy dress with a pair of of Christian Louboutin heels and her new husband wore a classic navy suit.

As well as his new wife, Abou Hashima — who was previously married to Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe for three years — shared two photos to his Instagram page posing with Sabri.

Congratulations from both fans and fellow celebrities flooded in for the newlyweds from the likes of Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdelnour and property tycoon Mohamed Hadid, who is also the father of famous models Gigi and Bella Hadid.

“Congratulations my love, may God grant you success,” Abdelnour said.

“Congratulations my dear brother Ahmed,” Hadid commented on the groom’s photos. “Wish you joy, health and ever-lasting LOVE. Stay well and safe. You are amazing. They young lady is as lucky to have you. As you have her. Congrats to both.”

Meanwhile popular Egyptian actress Hannah El Zahed also shared her congratulations saying, “Mabrook! God bless you both.”

An exciting 2020 for Yasmine Sabri

So far 2020 has been a great year for the 33-year-old, who announced her engagement last month.

Similarly, earlier this year, it was revealed she was the first Middle Eastern women to star in a Cartier campaign.

The 32-year-old was unveiled as the latest ambassador of Cartier’s iconic Panthère de Cartier collection.

The French fine-jewellery brand made the announced through a new campaign, a film titled Into The Wild, which stars Yasmine alongside fellow ambassadors British actors Ella Balinska and Annabelle Wallis, and Italian model Mariacarla Boscono.
