Sheikh Hamdan: ‘Dubai is a city with a leader who never settles for less’

As HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai placed the last piece of the Museum of the Future’s facade, his son HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum has praised his father for being a leader who never settles.

The Crown Prince of Dubai attended the installation of the final piece of the Dhs500 million facility with his father on Saturday evening. Not only will be an intriguing hub for museum-goers to visit, it is also set to be a top of the range research centre.

Upon the installation of the final piece of the facade, Sheikh Hamdan said the Museum of the Future was “a new and iconic landmark”.

“We set our achievements in line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision, which always seeks excellence and leadership across various fields,” he said. “This ambition allows us to set strategic plans that reinforce the government’s role in serving our societies and shaping the future.

“Dubai is the world’s city of the future. A city with a leader who never settles for less than 1st place.”

Sharing photos on Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed also outlined that the new museum is set to explore “future trends and opportunities in science, technology and innovation”.

“By making Dubai a testbed for emerging technologies, our aim is not merely to build another architectural marvel, but to build the foundation of tomorrow,” he added.
