Live near Dubai Creek? There’s a brand new hotel coming your way

We doubt you’re running out of staycation ideas but we for one are always happy to welcome a brand new hotel to our city.

Rixos has unveiled plans for it’s newest luxury getaway which will be positioned on the upcoming Jewel of the Creek. It promises to be an integrated urban resort that will focus on leisure, entertainment, sports and dining.

You can expect 770 stylish rooms and suites, numerous dining options, conference centre, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and fitness centre, a spa, an infinity pool, an entertainment and show arena, a beach promenade, and great options for the kids. So far so good.

Also, the project is expected to transform Port Saeed part of Deira into a destination that will feature residential, commercial, hospitality and entertainment. In addition, it will offer a vast range of unique outdoor features including lavish pools, extensive landscaping and water features, with a waterfront promenade offering numerous retail and restaurants on the marina that offers enough space for 70 boats.

“The recent development witnessed in the nearby Bur Dubai and Deira districts, with major facelifts and redevelopments initiatives, are expected to further elevate the surroundings and will be incredibly beneficial to existing hotels in the respective area,” Mark Willis, CEO of Accor Middle East & Africa, said. “We are the largest hotel operator in Dubai and our partnership with Dubai Developments highlights our common goal to strategically develop tourism and meet the demand of today’s travellers in Dubai”.

The group is currently operating 4 Rixos properties in the UAE, including Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, Rixos Dubai the Palm Hotel & Suites, Rixos Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi and Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah.
