Jennifer Gates and Egyptian boyfriend Nayel Nassar are officially engaged

Announced on Instagram

Congratulations are in order for Bill Gates’ daughter Jennifer Gates, as her and boyfriend Nayel Nassar are officially engaged.

The couple shared the incredible news on Instagram, both posting pictures of the sweet proposal with even sweeter words. Jennifer posted a photo of the couple sitting in a snow covered field, writing: “Nayel Nassar, you are one of a kind. Absolutely swept me off my feet this past weekend, surprising me in the most meaningful location over one of our many shared passions. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together. Yes a million times over.”

Nayel also took to Instagram to share some loved-up sentiments about his soon-to-be wife, including a close shot of her stellar diamond ring, writing: “SHE SAID YES!! I’m feeling like the luckiest (and happiest) man in the world right about now. Jenn, you are everything I could have possibly imagined..and so much more. I can’t wait to keep growing together through this journey called life, and I simply can’t imagine mine without you anymore. Love you more than you can possibly imagine, and thank you for making every single day feel like a dream to me. Here’s to forever!”

The couple have been together for two years now, having bonded over their shared love for equestrianism. Jennifer and Nayel often share pictures of one another on Instagram, which included phots of him with her family at her white coat at a ceremony in September.

While Jennifer is studying towards becoming a doctor, Nayel has made a name for himself in the world of equestrianism. Back in October, the equestrian and his team won the Nations Cup competition, securing a spot for Egypt at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics – the country’s first equestrian team appearance in 60 years.
