Arab stars band together to support Bvlgari’s cause to help children in Beirut

The aftermath of Beirut’s port explosion left a devastating effect for young people. Now the community is still working towards assembling the pieces together again.

As an initiative to support those children left tragically affected by the explosion to help rebuild their shattered lives, Bvlgari has partnered with Save the Children to launch the ‘B for Beirut’ initiative on November 4, where guests were welcomed to Il Ristorante to enjoy a specially curated menu by the 3 Michelin-starred chef, Niko Romito.

A pledge was made on the evening of the dinner by Romito, who has partnered with Save The Children for over three years, to donate the next two weeks of his restaurant’s proceeds to the cause.

During the special dinner, a new campaign holding up signs that read ‘opportunity’, ‘resilience’, and ‘love’, among other hopes for the future of young children all over the world were showcased with 25 of the region’s biggest stars to support their mission.

Amongst them was Lebanese TV host Diala Makki, Saudi Arabian singer Aseel Omran and Lebanese influencer and mum of three, Karen Wazen. Scroll down to see exactly who attended and is taking part in the initiative.

From November 4 until November 19, 2020 Bvlgari Hotel and Resort Dubai has allocated a portion of the revenues generated over the course of two weeks at Il Ristorante to donate to the cause and has also invited the public to partner with them and donate too.

The B for Beirut campaign aims to support 380 children at risk of dropping out from public schools and will also provide education for 600 out-of-school children.

In addition, if you wish to partner with Bvlgari and Save the Children and cannot make it for a meal at Il Ristorante, you can consider donating here.
