With Netflix becoming our favourite hobby in 2020 – especially during lockdown – we’re always on the lookout for upcoming movies and TV shows to keep us entertained. As we approach the cooler months, we can’t wait to hunker down with a cup of hot chocolate and get into the festive spirit.

From Christmas-themed originals to gripping TV shows there’s a range of family-friendly content for everyone out there and here’s what’s next on our list to watch.

In this gripping Netflix Original,  a Jewish woman takes in a young Muslim and tries to help him find his family and his faith starring Hollywood’s favourite, Sophia Loren.

This comedy series centres around the romance between cynical Dash and optimistic Lily, with the majority of it being shot in New York City.

This holiday hit will soon have a sequel releasing starring Vanessa Hudgens who will be playing a new character. We’re sure to be adding this to our list of festive-themed films to enjoy. For those who haven’t watched the first movie, here’s the trailer.

The gripping series featuring the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II will have its fourth season releasing soon and we can’t wait to see what happens next.

This Egyptian original series portrays the journey of a sceptical haematologist who’s plunged into a series of inexplicable events, watch to find out what happens next.

This true-crime docuseries revolves around an American man who has spent 22 years in prison after being convicted of the murder of a Boston police detective in 1993. However, it comes with a twist.

For all the pastry lovers and aspiring bakers, the competition series returns for the second season this month where bakers are challenged to special holiday treats where time’s the limit.

Starring Kurt Russell, who’s back as Santa Claus, brother and sister duo Kate and Teddy save Christmas as they journey through an unexpected adventure with Santa once again.
