I Found the Perfect Stay-At-Home Outfit

When the clock struck midnight on January 1st, I thought, “2020 is going to be great!” And in that moment, somewhere, a narrator paused my autobiographical movie reel and said “it was not going to be great,” and flash forwarded to now, when I have spent all of March laying on the couch in my 2014 Delta Delta Delta rush shirt and high school swim team sweatpants.

We’re currently living in some bizarre times, and it includes figuring out what you wear when you don’t leave the house for weeks at a time. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers and Instagrammers documenting getting dressed in real outfits every day despite not leaving the house, and while I respect that, it just isn’t me. The world may feel backwards, but that doesn’t mean I need to do a 180 on my beliefs and wear jeans while I’m not leaving the house.

My many days in a row in the same sweats that should have been tossed years ago got me thinking: what if I invested in cute sweats? You know, the monochrome ones celebrities wear out in public as a full look. It solved all my problems: I’ll feel like a real, fashionable person while still being as comfortable as physically possible while surviving 2020.

If you’re couch-ridden and ready to retire your worn-out college T-shirt (you know the one) and sweats with holes in them, give these a try—it might just change your whole work-from-home experience.
