Just in case afternoon tea wasn’t fabulous enough already, Four Seasons DIFC has taken it up a few beauty level by introducing a Charlotte Tilbury-themed set up at Penrose Lounge. Expect a selection of savoury and sweet treats and don’t be afraid to bite into the Charlotte Tilbury – Filmstar Bronze & Glow biscuit and a Pillow Talk Lipstick sweet.

COYA Dubai has added a range of new flavours to the menus of its separate Pisco Bar & Lounge and Member’s Club including six new mocktails and seven different types of food choices, including bao filled with wagyu shortrib, charcoal grilled prawns, softshell crab tacos. Keep an eye out on their Instagram for weekly events and live music performances.

Your front row pass

Over 40 regional and international prominent designers from the Middle East, Europe and Asia will come together once again for the Arab Fashion Week from 9 to 14  October in City Walk, the design-inspired open-air lifestyle neighbourhood. The runway schedule includes Dhruv Kapoor, Hussein Bazaza, Daniele Carlotta and Nora Al Shaikh. The event will also introduce an ethical AFC Green Label initiative in line with the United Nations Global Sustainable Goals.

Jumeirah Al Naseem is showcasing the exotic blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine known as “Nikkei” with the launch of its new popup, KAYTO. With a menu by Japanese-Argentinian Chef Cristian Goya, the concept will be open for lunch and dinner from 8 October until March next year. Expect exciting Peruvian-Nikkei flavours alongside a selection of Japanese-inspired cocktails, mocktails and varieties of Sake. Not to miss.

A night to remember

Not one, but two international superstars are taking to the stage this weekend at one of the hottest clubs in Dubai, Drai’s. This Friday, the venue will be playing hosts to Jeremih and Skepta with the doors opening from 10pm. You and your girls can enjoy free entry and complimentary drinks till 1am.

Great outdoors

Do you feel a slight coolness in the air? Winter is just round the corner which means you can start enjoying a wide range of fitness activities in the fresh-ish air. LJS Fitness bootcamp can be found at Zero Gravity’s outdoor gym space. Not as hardcore as some of the others, this class is a great introduction to high performance training and usually books around 10 people per class. In the 45 minute session you’ll go through variety of cardio, circuits and focus-muscle work.

Life’s a beach

Long day’s out in the sun are upon us so make the most of the great beach offers across the city, including Azure Beach at Rixos Premium, Dubai JBR. On weekends the venue offers entry for Dhs400, but you get Dhs200 of it back to spend on the venue’s popular Asian fusion cuisine and specially crafted beverages.

Need a new pair of jeans? Gap has a brand new store in Abu Dhabi’s The Galleria. Their Fall 2019 campaign titled “It’s Our Denim Now” champions diversity and celebrates the versatility of Gap denim.  The selection is comprised of iconic denim jackets and shirts, and denim pant assortment including the women’s High-Rise Cigarette and the men’s Skinny pant. The collection also features Gap’s signature logo products as well as t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories for adults, kids and babies.
