Vanessa Feltz, Claudia Winkleman and Zoe Ball among biggest BBC earners as Gary Lineker tops highest pay list again

Claudia Winkleman, Zoe Ball and Venessa Feltz are now among the BBC’s highest earners after the media corporation came under fire last year for its significant gender pay gap.

The three female telly and radio personalities are now in the list of top 20 highest on-screen earners at the Beeb according to their annual pay report, after telly bosses slashed male star’s wages.

However, only two more women, Gabby Logan and Lauren Laverne, have made the list, with 15 men taking the rest of the top spots.

This means that even though that company execs projected that by 2020 they will have a 55/45 split of earners over £150,000, the situation is yet to be balanced.

The highest earning woman at the BBC at eighth place has been named as Radio 2 presenter, Zoe Ball, raking in £374,999 followed by Strictly Come Dancing host, Claudia Winkleman, who is making the same.

Although, Claudia’s Strictly salary is not included in the tot up, which just includes her radio money, as her role on the dancing show is paid by a BBC commercial arm.

In tenth place is radio personality, Vanessa Feltz, who reached a salary of £359,999 over the last 12 months.

The other two women in the top 20, radio host Lauren Laverne and sports presenter Gabby Logan, who saw their salary increase by £80,000 and £60,000 respectively.

Meanwhile, sports personality Gary Lineker topped the cash chart again, coming in as the highest earner with a reported pay of £1.75 million after not taking a cut to his packet.

Comedian Graham Norton, who made it on the list as the third highest earner, received £610,000 for his radio work alone.

Significant slashes were made to a series of high-profile male’s money amount, including Steve Wright, and John Humphreys, whose pay was lowered by more than £100,000.
