Kevin Clifton has delighted Strictly Come Dancing fans with some seriously exciting news.
Taking to Instagram, the winner of 2018’s series of the BBC dance contest revealed that he and his Strictly star sister, Joanne Clifton, are teaming up for a thrilling new project.
Confirming that he and Joanne will be coming together for the next production of epic dance show, Burn The Floor, Kevin told his followers, “It’s FINALLY happening. The ultimate collaboration, Burn The Floor @burnthefloorofficial, Joanne Clifton @realjoanneclifton and Kevin Clifton.”
Sharing a video baring a sneak peek of what the show will have to offer, hordes of 36-year-old Kevin’s supporters swooned over the news.
One commented, “Cant wait for this hopefully you’ll be somewhere local and I can bring my daughter to see you both ❤️.”
While another excitedly wrote, “Have booked tickets for Shrewsbury already! Bring it on! Although,sorry Kevin but looking forward to seeing Joanne in the flesh!”
Blonde beauty Joanne reigned victorious with presenter Ore Oduba back in 2016’s series of Strictly, while Kevin lifted the glitterball trophy alongside journalist, Stacey Dooley, last year.
As well as gaining first place, Kevin and Stacey also found romance after meeting on the programme.
The relationship caused controversy after Stacey’s ex boyfriend, Sam Tucknott claimed he was left heart broken after finding texts on Stacey’s phone from Kevin, confessing his love to her.
Stacey later reportedly told Sam she had fallen for Kevin, insisting it had happened after she and Sam had split.
Taking to Twitter amid the scandal, Stacey wrote, “Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are two sides to every story.
“I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here.
“Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward.”
